Steam is not patreon, player buy a product and if it abandonned, player can prosecute stream...
Then steam will return judicially to the dev... there are laws for commercial transaction. But it could be as short as he want.

In the vn world where milking and abandonned project are legion, i wonder if steam is a good idea... it s a damocles sword for lazy devs.

i was not talking about refound, what is part of the steam rules for normal games... but abandonned game by dev, and legal action related to the right to consumption and commercial transactions. supporting devs with donations is a thing, buy a dev game is another... but whatever...

That's why Steam is labeled Season 1. Not much you can do since it can be said it's complete since the wording..

I wanted to thank all those of you who have decided to support me by purchasing SEASON ONE of THE SHRiNK and let you know that the first season is already considered a success for this one man team.

That brings me to the second season... The second season is already under way, and if by chance you happen to be someone who has purchased my first game on STEAM (FOM) unlike the fate of that game, THE SHRiNK is entirely mine and will have no interruptions in terms of development.

Season two is coming this year for sure (likely October), but I can't give you an exact date this early on though. I want to make sure that there is enough content before release.


For those of you who have not tried THE SHRiNK yet... Know that the story is a silly over the top ??? type of story that is simply there to keep things going. The focus of the game is to entertain the MC (you) through your actions.

the steam community is rather demanding, with such short episodes at this price... i think this devs will not sell a lot before a storm of bad comment come to him... steam community could be very toxic, much more than here in f95... they all pay for the game, so...

Did you not read above? He already sold more than he expected and said "Season 1 was a success" and already talking about Season 2 coming...

There will always be people who ignore reviews, I mainly do and glad I did on quite a few games I enjoy.

sigh... i was not talking about episode 1... but the other seasons. but whatever
And you know steam is enormous, some tens millions of people in the world... put things in context it s still few.
I'm the exact opposite so... I don t have time, so i read a lot before testing anything.
