something is odd, i swear i have saved beyond what is given to us in this update last update

What's the deal with this dev?
I came across this game 1.5 years ago and now there are few new scenes. Additionally according to the changelog the last 2 updates were empty.
Is he still working on the game?

He is, and also still working on the not reworked version. And he's a father now.

Season 1 is included in the download. I can't be absolutely certain anymore because the game has changed a fair bit over development (and a few different times), but if it's the same Season 1 basically ends after the family is watching TV and the MC follows one of his sisters to bed for the night. Season 2 is the current one and ofc is also included in the same download.

What is new in this update?
All of my most recent saves were broken so I had to go back to where you choose between visiting the mom or one of the sisters but then the game ended right after the sex scene that choice leads to. So where is the new content?
Are there multiple exclusive paths that I missed or something?

I don't know if this is any help but I've noticed the game checks if these variables are set to true or not: (bought_ep3/bought_ep4/bought_ep5). I enabled them all and the game then proceeded farther than that scene where you're at the stairs and get to choose which household member to go to. The game eventually ends when Jasmine is now in the new house and everyone going to sleep. Last text states v2.9 ends right here.

It has been years now since the rework started.

The right tool would be URM. Just search up URM Ren'py in google or in F95. Download the file and put it in the folder 'game'. Launch the game, boot up a save then you'll be notified that URM can be usable. Press Alt+M if on PC or command+M if on Mac. Click on the first column on the left, type in 'bought' in the search bar and the three corresponding variables will display. Click on em, toggle false to true, and confirm on each one. There you have it! Keep in mind that if you load a previous save different from the one in which you edited the variables, those same variables will reset and return to their default states as they're not stored in the persistent file. In Layman's terms, just be sure to check the variables again if you plan on loading older saves.
