i am really interested how you are going to incorporate interracial tag into 1940s America.

interracial marriage was frowned upon but i am preety sure interracial sex was more or less happening everywhere in america during that time. Still would like to see to what reactions and or storylines the dev goes with

Where did you get that idea about shrinking? There is a least one super popular game where bestiality is a major tag (if not the most important one) - Claire's Quest. It has like more than 3000 patrons. It doesn't seem to shrink the audience, actually quite the opposite. Cosidering how few such games exist, it is almost impossible to say for sure whether that tag shrinks the audience or widens it.
I'm not saying that this game should have it or shouldn't. It's the developer's choice. Just noticed your post. Personally, I believe any developer should always stick to his own guns and create the game he really wants to create, what he or she is passionate about, and should not be influenced by other people's opinions. When a developer starts listening to his "fans" too much, it is often the begining of an end of the game.

Patreon should be OK with it. Zetan https://f95zone.to/threads/desert-stalker-v0-13c-zetan.68105/ on Desert Stalker has some of the most vile, violent, and degrading sexual acts and he has a massive Patreon base (not banned). The only thing they're weird about is incest, which I don't think would fit this story.
I do agree it's a pretty heavy trauma for any young girl to go through, and I have yet to seen a single developer do it justice. I too agree with you that "cock addict" troupe is a turn off and I'd like to see a more realistic reaction to being blackmailed and raped.
If you're speaking of Patrons on Patreon, well make a poll. I almost instantly subbed because of the cover art, but I took the time to play the game before I subbed so I'll see you on there.
The problem is not that Patreon bans 100% of all games with such content but that Patreon is arbitrary in their decision making & just because 1 game exists to this day it doesn't mean it is a safe or good idea for new Developers to go overboard with content that might or might not conflict with Patreon's guidelines. While 1 game and Developer may stand despite "offensive" content 3 others might just get squashed despite not even coming close to the 1st Dev's stuff & there is no basis to fight back against it because Patreon can basically just decide on a whim if they find something in their terms of service that could be used as a reason to ban your work and you as a Developer.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback, there's a lot of cool stuff that's been suggested that's defeinitly gonna shape the game!
I wanted to clear some things up so people won't be mislead:
1. Incest will not be in the game. Earlier i already made that clear, but said it could be added after release as a patch. After thinking about it i realized it wasn't something i would enjoy writing or drawing so it won't be added into the game in any form.
2. Non-con. I was considering adding this, but again after reading some comments and thinking about it i realized it's just not something that i can see being added into the game in a way that i consider let's call it "tastefull". I don't want to add a rape scene only to brush it off in the next update, but if i were to add it in a meaningful way i also feel like exploration of that topic would overpower the main plot and take it in a direction that i did not intend. Rough sex, prostitution etc. will be in the game, non-con will not. So yeah, non-con is not coming either.
3. Beastiality ain't coming. Just not my thing.
4. All the tags and stuff that will appear though, will depend on player choice. As in i will do my best to not force you into situations and still allow you to enjoy certain routes without engagin in associated tags.
No kink shaming intended, just wanted to make a concrete desicion on these topics to not mislead people who were interested soley in these kinks or mostly followed for those.

I am really happy to read this, I feel as if it will translate into less chance of you getting into issues with Patreon & people and also hopefully just means you can fully enjoy creating your game because you allow yourself to stick to things you yourself are comfortable with.
Edit: This does leave me with 1 question though: Will there be different flavors of f/f stuff as well? I really don't mind if not, even a single fully railroaded route would be fine with me personally, everything beyond that would literally be a bonus. But if there was a bit wholesome dom/sub dynamics with the artist potentially it would ofc be neat.
Honestly I can respect that. It's better to focus on your story's core, make it interesting to follow rather than just throwing in as many kinks as possible to attract a wide range of followers.
Many of the best-received VNs on this site aren't the ones with tons of kinks that would make patreon leery, but the ones with meaningful choices and/or a compelling story. Turns out people do like plot with their porn after all.

1. Incest is a big seller for this type of game, HOWEVER, I applaud your decision in this case. In this case, I wouldn't want to see incest either (I'll clarify why in #2)
2. Non-con. So, as much as I hate to say it, I'm a BIG FAN of non-consensual content. Give me a Female Protagonist with Corruption and Non-con all day long. THAT SAID, I applaud your decision in this case. This character and her circumstances are ... [searching hard for the right word] difficult enough. Coming to America, fleeing wartorn Europe during WWII (possibly being jewish since her ultimate benefactor is a businessman &/or gangsta named Siegal), and all the other struggles she's faced already and is certain to face... it is enough. Adding incest &/or non-con content wouldn't necessarily break the suspension of disbelief, but would break the suspension of "holy shit this is happening to her, but there might be a way out."
3. I wholeheartedly agree. Not just because it ain't my kink, but because of potential legal issues. Even if it were my kink, I'd be concerned about the legal issues in many countries.

Bonus. Many years ago the parents of a dear friend of mine took in the Aunt of one of the parents because her own children wouldn't have anything to do with her. Her main claim to fame was that she was a "Moll" to someone in the "Chicago Outfit" back when she was a teenager. She outlived her gangster husband and eventually needed assisted living. She was kicked out of 3 assisted living facilities and no place else would have her. Again, her own children wanted nothing to do with her. So, she came to live with the parents of a dear friend of mine. She was a horrible person. She smoked (no one else in the house did), she drank (no one else in the house did), she was verbally abusive (no one else in the house was), she was physically abusive (no one else in the house was)... if you can think of a way someone could be awful, she did it.
I'm a bit of an odd duck. IRL I don't know how I do it, but I've known people for a few minutes and they're telling me secrets they haven't told their spouses. So, one time I was on the back porch (respectfully) smoking a cigarette when Aunt [name withheld] came out trying to harass me into smoking inside like she did. Instead I convinced her to smoke her Black&Mild outside with me. We had a conversation - that lasted long after I finished my cigarette, until she finished her cigarillo - and part of it was the sheer joy she got out of making others uncomfortable. If she hadn't smoked, she would have taken up smoking to bother people around her. If she didn't drink, she would throw a fit until people provided her with alcohol to appease her. Everything she did was cold, calculated, and designed to make the people around her miserable. Because they weren't important. They didn't matter. Her husband had been somebody and he had mattered. She had a keen sense about the people she knew in Chicago and could tell who was somebody and who didn't matter - and she felt it was her duty/pleasure/responsibility to inflict misery on the people that didn't matter.
Yes, even though that included her own children.
And somehow through all that she decided that I was someone who mattered. I never figured out how to use that to make the lives of other people easier. Thankfully, she died shortly after that.
And there was much rejoicing.
Hopefully, the protagonist of "The Silver Lining" won't turn out that way... but I personally believe it would be wonderful &/or realistic if there will be a path for her to become every inch of the entitled & horrible bitch that Aunt [name withheld] was.
The vibe of the game reminds me of an old joke:
Of course, our shy heroine might blossom into a femme fatale that conquers the Rotten Apple instead, but right now I feel like we'll be making her debase herself through several crygasms of our own.

I feeled that too - >600 lines prologue without sex scenes!
They're only 33 images: 15 of them backgrounds and 15 characters. It's not much, but if he deliver fast (max. one month per update), it's okay for me i guess. And maybe we're going to see more images soon?
