Anyone know why my game is crashing at the title screen. I have my game updated to version 1.8. I tried to use the Build 375.

If I'm not wrong, perhaps its because there is ts4 package file in your mods folder.

Assser was correct about v. 1.67 only .....sim 4 content will mess up game also...but v. 1.67 is only option playing kinkyworld mod
1.69 should also work, as its code is almost identical to 1.67. The only way to get 1.69 is to own the game on Origin, though.

That differences in coding is pretty big ..onki wrote kinky for 1.67 and Origin messes up kinky mod it is on her page and at loverslab v1.67 only hope this helps

Really? I've been using 1.69 for many versions now and haven't had any issues. From the looks of it my only options to go back to 1.67 is to either be a pirate or buy the game again on steam. If I have some expansions digital only from origin won't that automatically update me to 1.69 if I download any? I still have the pre-origin disc and a few xpacs but quite a few were bought digitally.

glad it works for ya ..i bought the disks at wal mart ..all ep's and have never used streaming downloads ...i useto be on her pay page ..and she stated there that only ver 1.67 worked ..but haven't pay for it it a while so maybe things changed ..i would not lie to you ..just what i knew from my own experiences..but its good if she did fix it ...heard gameworld has a muti pack all eps included free download
The differences between the last 3 patches are virtually nothing.
Patch 1.66 was the last real patch that actually touched game play files with bug fixes and changes to game play.
Patch 1.67 only added Server Messaging (aka Spyware) and never touched any game play files.
Patch 1.69 only added a new launcher that allows you to turn EP's and SP's on and off and never touched any game play files (basically EA made a crappy version Ralphaelninja's Game Selector mod) and removed the Server Messaging.
Unless a patch touches game play files it is irrelevant.
KW will run perfectly fine with all 3 patches she just never updated the Requirements Section at LL as she was originally unaware that 1.66 was the last bug fix patch and the 2 later ones where superficial

+Added: Interactions to directly use a gloryhole without peeing are now autonomous.
+Added: New photography collections (Exhibitinism and WooHoo) and subjects. You can take photos of Sims doing kinky things.
The blackmailing system will be activated in the next build.

If starting a new game, solved the problem, it's because of these reasons....
Beside of infamous stuck sims somewhere in the world map, using a lot of cc with high polygons and high texture definitely hit the performance hugely too. Like hair, cloth, skin and furniture, play a huge role. Unconsciously we love to add more items into the world.
But I don't know whatever kw can produce stuck script somewhere after updating. May be disabling kw and reset the whole town may fix the problem.
This is a nice update!
I have been waiting for the fix of chair lounge.
I wonder if photo collection label can increase sims arousal in the room if put it as decorations?
