Anyone else read through HerMajestryBuilds rant about someone leaking her 'patreon exclusive' builds to DWP? The whole rant is actually up on DWP to read, but omg, that girl! Like, how full of yourself can you get. When I read "this build in particular is as close to perfection as anyone will get in the building community" I could not believe what I saw. Like, that shit nearly knocked my ass over! Lmao! Apparently she and she alone can build good dollhouses in a dolly game and no one else Bitch, what!? The level of ego that's in the TS4 community kills me, I remember in the TS2 days when if you didn't include a mesh in a recolor you were considered a lazy creator. This is just too much, I stg man. If I hadn't already sunk an obscene amount of money into TS4, the CC community alone would make me just toss up my arms in defeat and walk away from the game.

I just started modding the Sims and have a few questions about some of the mods, are all of the mods in the mega folder compatible with the latest version of the game? is there a way apart from following this thread which allows me to see what mods are compatible? and ultimately where can I see descriptions of some of the mods?
I've tried looking in loverslab but it's not working so if there is any other place that I should visit I'd really appreciate someone pointing me there. Thanks for the work tho! really loving how organized the mega folder is, it has been real smooth installing the mods.

I can give some tips, usually when it comes to body meshes such as bottom, breasts etc, you can only have ONE Default, but as many non default as you like. Make sure to look at what the file is called when installing, i use better bodies and wild guys personally, some prefer EVE. I like mine as it is still close to the original art style and it morphs well with muscle mass. If you want different skins then look out for overlays which....well...overlay over your default skin. These change skin texture and look. You can also get cmar 3d nipples but this isn't compatible with all skins, they will still work just the nipples will look out of place. Keep wicked whims up to date (obviously) go nuts with animations, they wont conflict, with the exception of some which offer different versions of the same animation but usually the poster will state this. Things to keep up to date - Wickedwhims, basemental, AEP pornography, NISA wicked perversions and MCCC (I don't use it as it has caused issues for me but i would be doing a disservice by not including it and i imagine it's more stable now). Secondary ones (ill call them that as they don't change game play much but can be useful) include the slice of life mod, Simrealist private practice and national bank and BS boobies. That's what i use, as for clothing, hair, accessories etc there is not much to worry about with that, just look out for re-colours of existing work, as they often won't include the mesh.

One thing i would say is (and this is a personal thing) avoid sacrificial mods, they are buggy, and have caused issues with my game by vastly increasing load times and sometimes corrupting my saves, but this doesn't include the latest mod (zombie one) but i haven't used it. Your experience may be different but thought i should warn you

If you REALLY don't want to go through all that then i could upload my mod file, it's packed with mods all up to date and not causing LE's but its BIG. It's also catered towards playing as a female or futa as that's my jam but let me know and ill sort something out if you want it.

This is why I apperciate cc creator, mod creator, & animators, alike, that do things for free. I feel like damn there EVERY cc, mod, or animator maker now is trying to make money off of their stuff and not doing it for just sharing or showcasing their talents. The intitlement of some of these creators amazes me...

I don't think it is necessary to spam with the Simfiles codes, if you want to join Simfiles simply wait for the activation code that you would receive in your email. That's what I did.

I laughed when I saw that, she doesn't even own most of the CC that's included with her builds... Yet they're profiting off of it and ranting about their builds getting shared. I do like that Instagram baddie estate tho lmao, It's not worth all that trouble though, (But if someone can snag it in the future and send me a PM of it I'll love you for life) Ok I'm done. xD

I suppose if there is a 'exclusive club' of sorts (it's not really ,just has a bit of an extra hoop to jump through) then people want to join regardless of how useful it is as it's nice to just have it 'just in case', psychology at work.

The usefulness is quite simple. Many times someone will ask for a file that is no longer available, or has been taken down by the creator. These codes give us a way to post those files for others here to download. Most people here know exactly what they are for.

I am aware of that thank you, but others aren't. They are just asking for them because other people are. Most people just download from it, they don't upload. This code thing will die down soon. Seems to be a bit of a fad right now.

SO I ducked out back when wickedwhims put the custom female body in their pack, which threw off all the other mods at the time. I figured i'd wait until things had settled down.

So now i'm looking to update. What do I need to know? I'm guessing I have to throw out all my old custom bodies/ clothes and start again?

She's a bitch, speaking as someone who used to be friends with her and got building advice from her she thinks that her content is special. She even left one of the sim fanpages after an argument because someone asked her why they would bother paying $3 for a house they could build themselves. I didn't like her houses when she gave them out for free so why would I pay for it?

Nah, nothing quite so dramatic. Seems more people hated the new body than liked it. The newer WW works more like the old one except you have more choices. Just glad I'm able to use my old body parts... Those tattoo meshes really made the bodies look awful. I'm still using my old stuff with no problems now.

Recently, on youtube, I referred to someone who does the same, though for free, but without my consent. But THIS HERE But this here raise this once again to a higher level of adversity! Such behavior kills in me every measure of creativity and muse to create something new.

Patreon has ruined many a good thing. TS3 creators and below were NEVER this bad
