MCCC Stable Pre-Release for 6.2.0 is out!
The second stable pre-release for MCCC/MC Woohoo is out for 6.2.0 (6.2.0.2). As with all stable pre-releases, there are no English placeholder strings for new menu options for other languages. That always happens in the release candidate.
I'm going to be gone for Spring Break from Wednesday to Saturday of this week so wanted to get this pre-release out before I left. :)

Compatibility:
This has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous and the patch released February 21, 2019 - PC 1.50.67.1020 / Mac 1.50.67.1220. It will also work with anything after that Sims 4 update unless otherwise specified on Tumblr/Patreon posts I make after the update. Earlier Sims 4 versions may not be compatible so we often do not support anything below the specified version here!

I have the latest Basemental but it says the file is too large for the server to process NVM I now know what SFS is for lol



Even though the main focus is on Basemental Gangs these days, that certainly does not mean I have stopped updating Basemental Drugs...

How it works
Cocaine and Amphetamine
Whenever your Sim snorts multiple lines of high quality cocaine or amphetamine they will get visible powder under their nose.
MDMA
Whenever your Sim is high on MDMA they will get dilated pupils.
All Them Fixes
There was a whole bunch of outdated syntax in a whole bunch of places. I have been sitting all night correcting it. Quite tedious, but also an important thing to sort out. Thing is, most of these would have gone unnoticed as, even though it is outdated and doesn't work any more, it didn't cause any issues in the game either. But the less redundant stuff in there, the better, obviously. I want this mod to be as fault-free as possible.
There is still the Cannabis that needs to be overhauled and there is still some old outdated syntax in there, but I haven't touched that yet as I need to overhaul it properly from the ground up, following the new system I have in place for the other drugs.
Installation Instructions
  • Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
  • Download Basemental Drugs 2.9.8.15.95
  • Unzip Basemental Drugs 2.9.8.15.95
  • Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder
  • Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
  • Stuff not showing up properly? - place the files directly in your Mods folder.
  • Any other issues, get in touch at my
  • Enjoy the drugs

Patreon has ruined many a good thing. TS3 creators and below were NEVER this bad
The reason for this being so bad, Is because It's way to easy to create using Sims4Studio. I mean I can pump out 50-100 paintings within a few hrs or so... vs Sims3 it takes about 5 min per poster. Sims3 was, and still is a nightmare to use sometimes.

I guess when you combine people with no marketable job skills who love to play video games all day you get people who seek money for making something vaguely artistic. I get if you are a talented programmer and you are making a large mod like Wicked Whims, or Basemental Drugs (talented may be overstating Turbodriver's abilities though) that takes away your ability to do your regular job and you have to resign in order to fulfill some made-up obligation to a game community. Seriously, get a job and work for your money like the rest of us do. I say that as I type this instead of doing my job.

if anyone recently updated kawaii stacy's slice of life mod and its not behaving like it should, she said on twitter she uploaded her personal testing version by accident. and has now posted the proper update.

Curious question, in MCCC-> MC CAS, theres an option to log appearance for a sim (it creates a file in MCCC folder for that particular sim) How do I use that?

Also, is there a way to say a certain sim appearance and reuse it on a different save? I like to edit some of the default NPCs (like Bella so she uses some custom skins and I like to transfer her looks across my other saves)

For your second question it's MC CAS>Copy/Paste>Paste Tray Sim then select the category they're in, the household, and the specific sim. They need to be saved in your gallery for this to work.

Just to be sure... I have to save Bella alone without her family into my gallery... then in my new game, paste her back on? Got it.
