I only popped in a handful of times to grab a few files and left when I got what I needed, but yeah, you guys definitely need to find something other than Discord. I've personally seen the whackamole game played out with other servers. Once they have you in their sights it's over. I don't know much about them, but smaller alternatives like Riot.im or Fediverse might be worth looking into.

Discord rules are fucked. I have seen people on another discord, some of you will know which one, who are talking about their "love of dogs" and that's fine to them?

I just tried it and it's actually really fun! Haha, but the two times I did the event, I was the last to die.

Would a Telegram channel be a viable option? Supports up to 10.000 Members. And its possible to limit write privileges to staff.... as a backup to give information to ppl if F95 gets jammed too...

That's so TRUE. Most of the half cc content put it in DWT and here (For WW and stuff) are so badly done. Crappy and unfinished. They should mostly get better most of them so they can at least cry for something about it.

I miss the chat too, we all loved hanging out with everyone, a pity that even making the discord clean wasn't enough. Well, there are always other options.

We considered the option, but it asks for a phone number and expose a lot of people that way, there are ways to use a alternative number of course but it's still too much work for everyone

Well, if they consider it "work" then they need to reassess their priorities. I'd like to think there are modders still around that do this because they love it, not because they want to milk it. How times have changed. Corporations have finally figured a way to monetize our hobbies and free time... *sigh*
