I really bet it was this bitch -hermajesticbutthole- who did the report. Honestly I've never seen discord banning members... idk whats going on. But PATREON is big deal so thats probably they dont wanna be responsable for anything going on with them, imagine PATREON sue on DISCORD. But thats ignorance, because Discord don't give a shit to understand that this isn't ordinary Patreon stuff as art or porn, which they do have all rights over IP, CC is a very much more complex matter because they're agaisnt EA IP, TOS, contract, blablabla, it's not because something is being hosted on Patreon that is legit or have rights. It's the same thing someone lock behind a patreon paywall a cracked game. Isn't legit. But will Discord care to think of it? No.

My goodness these Sims Creators are morons - someone should ask the idiot that if they believe that they have the "rights" that they believe that they do then they can show legal proof through EA's Terms of Service and if not, then they really need to stfu or go work in Second Life or a game that legally allows you to profit off of your work. As of right now, all of these Sims Creators are the ones actually breaking the law by profiting off of someone else's intellectual property and just because EA is too lazy or profiting on the side from custom content still doesn't change the fact that they have zero legal or moral standing whatsoever.

TS4 SimRipper - rip sims from savegames by CMARNYC


This is a tool to read TS4 save files, list the sims, and create a mesh of the sim with all the appropriate morphs applied, hopefully duplicating the appearance of the sim in the game. The mesh can then be saved in a choice of mesh formats. The composited diffuse and specular textures are also saved. Optionally a composited bumpmap and emissionmap can be saved, but these are experimental and may not be useful.

This update is a huge deal. Cmar and tau534 have been working a while on trying to reverse engineer EA's new LRLE format. Apparently they were successful. This means going forward, we'll be able to deal with this proprietary image format. (EA has been changing images in the game to LRLE making it impossible to clone newer items because no one was able to read LRLE files.) This will allow you to run a batch fix on makeup to enable all the new sliders EA just added. Caution: This batch fix takes forever. If you have lots of makeup files, it could take overnight to convert them.

I know your intentions are good. BUT, Luth works for Deaderpool, and we know Deaderpool is a MF sucker, specially when they decide to witch hunt and backlash a mod creator, as CN for instance. Instant ban only for mentioning him. And therefore they accused him of the same shit "stolen code", that's what they do to scare ppl and sabotage/boicot the creator and their mod. Ppl might not care about stolen but if they tell ppl that it can mess their game, that's where they get it, cuz ppl will get scare and won't use it. They always come up with this story of "stolen code". What she said there "under investigation" in her post, what they are? TS4 COMMUNITY PATROL, the FBI? Fuck it. Again they just ignore EA terms when they say that "once you upload it and share, it doesn't belong to you anymore and anyone can do what they want". I downloaded the mod before this polemic and is working fine so far. Just a note, I have over 400 mods installed. MODS not CC.

they recently sent out a new survey and they keep hinting at multiplayer/online play. they're going to try a second life clone (again) and i think this file format is/was apart of this. i guess the game sims 4 was supposed to be is finally done and they don't want things to be copybotted via cache like with second life. but pirates always find a way :-D

ah i had no idea! i don't care about "stolen code" tbh as it's all open source according to the EULA but had no idea of the other stuff

This is exactly like this "influencer" I know who will take famous art pieces and basically print them out and color around them and resell it for over $100. People seem to be forgetting the medium they are producing this art for, I don't disagree that it takes time and knowledge but you have to realize, going into this, that you are creating for a game that you did not create so it becomes free game when being put into that game.
