I have no idea what is up with anon files, but there's been a few times where it tries to give me random .exe files. Try and avoid it if you can.

Tumblr is a good place to find anything sims related.
People that upload sims there usually use free cc and link to everything needed in their post. I know it's tedious to download everything 1 by 1, but that way you'll always get the latest version of the files and the cc creators can see that people like their stuff.
