I agree to disagree. I remember the dawn of the internet where web browsing was considered safe most of the time, back when we had 14,000 baud dial-up modems and a porn pic would sometimes take 5 minutes to download. Back then everyone used their real contact info and VPN services were unheard of. These days any careful web consumer will have several countermeasures in place to protect their identities and themselves. I have a specific email addresses\accounts for my naughty Patreon activities and I do not CARE if the developer sells my email to third parties because I never read the cesspool of spam in that mailbox. There is a special place in perdition for those who share emails with 3rd parties, I would not do it myself - but the fact is, most free email providers already do that and it comes as no surprise to me that there are other people who want to cash-in on that action.
