I have downloaded a lot of expansions packs and have a lot of things for sims 4, but after I downloaded them, there's a weird thing when I make my sims and the grounds. For example when I make a new family, some of the clothes/hair/makeup etc I can't use, because if I do the sims is covered in question marks and red, black and white colours that covers the total sims, so I can't see the sims face or anything. I have tried to uninstall and install origin again and I have tried the cleanser of origin. Please help, I can't play while this is happening...
This is not a support thread, but this is an easy solve- your CC is broken- could be missing the mesh; could simply need to be updated. Use sims 4 tray importer to find the bad CC, and then parse the problem out when you locate the file(s).

Idk if if it’s my mods or cc, but i updated them all and also tried repairing the game and restarting my sims 4 folder but my all of my sims, including townies and my created ones are covered in black and red plus questions mark. i really hope I’m not the only one with this problem, any solution??

If I had to guess. You updated your game with all mods installed and thus all your mods broke or you downloaded a mod that needed a texture base because some people make CC that's just a recolor of someone else mod and needs the base outfit still.....Unfortunately, there actually isn't many way's to fix this other than downloading all your mods/cc again >.<
**But** before you do that. Try downloading sims studios wishes; try to repair your CC and mods with that.
Goodluck and let us know how it goes.
"Edited" Realize you said you updated your mods so I assume you used sims studios. When you update your mods it makes a backup for you. Find where your backup was saved and replace it with the mods you updated.

I just updated, having not played in some time sims 4.

Sorry to bother, I did look through the thread, but what I found I could not be sure of as the latest version.

I was looking for the latest MCCC ?

Anyone know what the problem is if the mc_cmd_center.package is in your Mods folder, but doesn't show up in the in-game modlist? The mc_cmd_center.ts4script shows up in the in-game modlist though.

Are all your MCCC files together?
Yes, they're all in the Mods folder; no subfolders for them. Also, I'm not sure if it has any effect but I tend to discard special characters on my package files as I read it makes the game load slower. mc_cmd_center.package -> mccmdcenter.package.

This is why it don´t show in the list. You couldn´t change the name of a mod package file bcos all other files (script,...) of this mod refer to the name. ! Don´t change the name of a mod ! You could only change names of normal cc like clothes or objects.

In addition to what Simmer74 has said, if you find mods with an exclamation mark in the file name don't remove it. This enables it to load before other mods

Is it possible to make MCCC load before other files by adding an exclamation mark on it's file name? Also, it used to load before even when I changed the file name but I'll try it w/o changing name; it might just work.
