Cloud based sounds annoying. And expensive. And worse yet if there is ever a company and franchise that would try and stick NFT's in something it's EA and this. Metaverse will have given them ideas and the lack of the FIFA license will have galvanized that. Their executives are out of touch enough that they'll gamble on a massive paid-for-ecosystem in a heartbeat. They'll have CC creators minting a limited number of objects they create and your sims will be actually buying and selling clothes and furniture with converted real money. EA will naturally take a cut of that too.Old animations should work fine, Turbo would have to be insane for them not to since the animators aren't all going to spend months updating all of their old animations to use the animated vagina. Not sure why he did a major update this late into the game, I mean TS4 is on borrowed time, or maybe not. Now I'm reading that Sims 5 is going to be more "cloud based". That tells me that Maxis is still just experimenting with new ideas and not even close to rolling the game out as of yet, maybe December, but I'm thinking mid 2023.
I can't see a circumstance where an online game allows adult modding easily either. This will be the game where the series goes the way of Dungeon keeper or Command and Conquer I fear.
