Is this game actually finished? or has the developer essentially abandoned it but tagged it with completed?

Oh, the problem with running the game has been solved.
The word game in the room object was small, so I couldn't see it.
But still the text error is not fixed.

I'm playing the HTML version and I seem to be encountering a bug that shows up in this thread going back to 2020. I supposedly took pictures of Reanna when we went to the bar with her hubby. But I don't have a camera nor a camera folder in my inventory. I don't believe I've ever obtained a camera explicitly (I just kind of assumed the MC was using some undeclared cellphone camera when the scene played). I haven't used any cheats. I seem to be running 1.0 but the changelog for 1.01 doesn't sound relevant to this issue.

Thanks for reporting. Indeed, this is a bug, but a logical one. In short, it should not have much impact on your play (or so I think ). If you have not stolen the "camera" from Kingson's house, then, you should do that. I hope, that after taking it, you will also find Photos of Reanna in your Photos folder (in the inventory). Please, do this and let me know if you do find these pictures (and can use them to corrupt Reanna further).

As for the bug, I will take care of it later, as it should not (I hope) prevent a player from progressing.

Sorry for that. To be resolved in the 1.02 update which I plan to upload in the evening.

So far, you can use Command Prompt to pass this issue. Please, let me know if it will also affect Reunion of the Stones family (in that case you will have to use cheats again, advancing the game progress).

Well, the developer claims (see the changelog) that he has indeed finished it (say for the bugs that, to his shame, are still present in the game). Now, it is a question of whether you trust him or not.

when i open the game its start loading data and around 75% the game just close with no error message or anything

I have made it almost to the end of the game. I encountered 3 problems. Please note as I am playing v1.00 and not 1.01 as I did not want to start over.

Issues:
1. The already reported issue with Simon's Diary. Used c_level to bypass it.
2. For Gina's quest #4 where you have to get her to have fun with Black Jack, the guide says to go to the Dragon Rider camp and induce her to anger. The option is not available. I had to use c_level to bypass it.
3. At the end where I have to corrupt everyone, it still says I have yet to enslave both Kingston's even though I have them enslaved. Maybe the constant cheating affected the game file. Can you look into my save file and see what the issue is. I would love to see the 3rd ending, but it looks like I won't see it. I even tried the goal cheat and it did not work.

Ah ha! I see. I will try to catch up on the main path then. I've been having trouble getting enough sin points so I've been doing whatever side paths I could to try to continue the main quest.

I'll report back whether or not the Reanna situation rights itself once the camera is in-hand. Thank you!

Edit: Larry_Dreamer : Unfortunately, I now have the camera and it is open (e.g. shows the Photos of Emma Kingston) but it does not show the photos of Reanna. Am I boned?
Edit 2: Interesting, it seems to have reset the bar scene, going to try it now.
Edit 3: Okay I have the photos now and was able to use them, so all good! (Well except I've been stuck at 45 sin for several hours, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault hehe)

Odd indeed. There is though, a faint chance that I had already implemented a guard for having a camera, that does not allow this quest to end. Not sure though.

Could you please, check the level of Reanna now? If she has 30 sin points and you still did not give her photos to Ted, then everything is fine. If she has 50... this may cause some problems in the future.

Please, let me know.

PS As for your sin level: do not worry: there is enough possibilities to sin (drink, in your case). Every level has 2 extra possibilities. So, even if you "skip" one, you will be able to progress. Consult the Help if you do not see how you can go forward.

Thank for you reporting. I will try to investigate your issue, but see one possible fix for your solution below.

Issues:

That is more than strange. The quest is quite simple and never had problems. Just to check:
a) Did you speak with Black Jack first about Gina?
b) Did you report to Gina what he said?
c) Did you come to the Dragon Rider camp at the right time?
I think you did that, but I need to check this, just in case.

Foe Gina's quest, what time do I enter the dragon rider camp? That is probably my issue. The guide does not mention when to do it. I have met all the other conditions you have mentioned above.

The end 2 save is right before the 2nd ending decision. The "1" save file is me trying to finish goal number 20.

Edit: In this screen shot, you can see that I have both Kingstons in the unknown folder, completed folder, and in the "In Progress" folder of my notebook. That seems to be a big bug impeding my progress of the last goal to the final ending.

That's a bit easier said than done, I am playing it on RAGS, because that's how I've always played it. You've fixed the bug now so that should fix things (hopefully)

In the HTLM version, the timers for the Creig and the Hunter events do not work correctly, they trigger even when escaping the room before they run out, which is incredibly aggravating with Creig's giving an instant game over.

Edit:
Reading the mind of Anabelle Jordan for her fourth quest throws an error. The quest itself seems to proceed as normal.

Took me a bit, I saw this a lot later and had to find an old save and play through it a bit.

1. Without camera and before bar: 10
2. Without camera and after bar: 30
3. Okay (writing this post as I play), I guess I was wrong. This time when I stole the camera the photos were in there like you thought they would be. I must have accidentally returned to an earlier save when I was having issues last night. Sorry for the misinformation. Anyways, with camera and photos: 30
4. After showing photos: 50

Sorry again for my mistake. So while the game doesn't prevent the bar scene without the camera, the photos still appear on it when obtained. Anyways, all good now. My sin stagnation was solved as well, up to 63 now. Thanks again!

Ok. I see the point. But, in fact, presence of the record in "In Progress" folder should not stop you from progressing in the game. Clearly, the record should be removed, but, although it is misleading, this is not important for the game.

Did you try to start a new day?
Do this and try speaking with Camilla (there should be an action triggering the third ending).

I tried this and still cannot get ending 3. Try it yourself with my save file (file named 1).

Bugged with reading the sin of Simon because he doesn't have an icon pop up when you barge in the farm house.
