Rollback can be disabled by the dev. And that's exactly my point, now development time must be divided between vn and rpg mode, hence it's less cost-effective.The problem with Ren'py is, from what I hear several devs complain about, is when you venture out the visual novel or map clicking aspect and go into stuff like combat, the rollback feature ends up really, severely biting it in the ass, to the point where it can build up memory usage and just eventually tank a system. Charon wanted to implement the missions and mini-game stuff to make it feel more like a "game" and less like just a visual novel, but the visual novel mode is there if you just wanna speed through story and get to the sex.
I don't follow? The (VN) system is set up and ready to go in RPGM? Nothing more needs to doing to it. The early Unity builds also didn't work reliably for 50% of the user base so I think I made the correct choice.Rollback can be disabled by the dev. How far along are the gameplay systems? I don't really care whether it's a straightforward rpg or some management thing or whatever but it would pad out the game nicely if I couldn't just get someone's full scenes immediately, makes it feel rewarding.I don't follow? No backlog and no ability to save during conversations are two biggest complaints from me.I don't follow? The (VN) system is set up and ready to go in RPGM? Nothing more needs to doing to it. Lingerie, Swimsuit and Bunnysuit scenes in MC room. Thats about itAny changelogs?
Also, bro what a mess of a discussion. I just want to support the game and seeing updates, thats all
Saves are located in "the-solarion-project\www\save." Just drag the save folder from the previous build into the folder for the new build and it should work. Note that a save folder wont be created until a save has been made, so you wont be able to find the folder unless its a build youve playedIs there a way to transfer save data between updates?

where's are lord and savior when you need him!!!!!!!Meh, why not. I just got a dozen posts deleted on another thread for arguing semantics against zero patience coomers with the reading comprehension of fifth graders. Sometimes I wonder wether some forum dwellers actually are of age... Anyway, time to throw caution to the wind and join this discussion properly:
I think the game was doing better when it was still being developed using Unity. This game was born a VN and playing the rpg mode feels off. Changing it to Ren'py would've been a more cost effective approach in my opinion.
All in all, It is still worth playing as the "If commander Sheppard had a son" porn parody it was apparently intended to be. That and the art is really good (though I'm biased here because I enjoy witchking00's art style).
...
Also, holy shit, man, that back and forth between the dev and the reincarnated Descartes guy was the kind of shit every forum troll could only aspire to participate in
That made me laugh so hard I decided to meme about it:
