Did you download the game from the dev's patreon page (free download)??? If you didn't please read above post on this page first.
Yeah, and everything was working fine. Usually game checked its version and any updates, but now it's 0% and black screen after.

NVM. In some miracle way it's working again.

Why doesn't the initial post get updated anymore? I think this game is missing out on a lot of potential players since it hasn't appeared on the latest update page in over a year. Hell I only found out about updates cause I got curious a couple of months back and checked the thread myself. Was this a decision made by the developer or just lazy moderators? Seems a waste of potential.

Because we implemented an auto update in the game and we made the game release the updates automatically for each tier including the free players, so, because we did that, the mods decided to do not allow us to change the OP till the game gets cracked and removed the auto update.

Even though, we still give every single month update for free for everyone and we made the auto update so people don't need to download 3gb of the game every single month. Each update is only about 300mb to 500mb each month.

Noice game. Interesting why TOP NEP abandoned it. Some one fill mich in if you can.
Not abandoned! Devs continue to deliver updates each month.

F95 mods and admins banned the game due to DRM. No more updates on OP and blocked from "Latest Updates" section.

Thanks for your time but D.R.M is very rare to be seen here. Are You sure its not a bit of code that can be extracted and be done with or is it something I don't need to know.

Someone tried either failed or gave up trying.

The problem is that the automatic updater requires an active internet connection which means, that every time you launch the game it needs to verify that you are connected to the internet. After verification you can disable your your internet connection and play the game.

Oh I see its one of those takes a little more than fiddling for a little bit.. I know some one who can take a crack at it for a few drinks but since this is a porn game i am not inclined to ask. Anyway thanks for your time man.
But why to do that if we give free updates every month to everyone? And I'm not gonna start all discussion about that, but its not exactly a DRM...
This is how it works

Backers $25 get the update on release
Backers $10 get the update 7th
Backers $5 get the update 14th
Backers $1 get the update 21th
And the update becomes free at the end of the month....

the difference is that I trust f95. Using it at first was a risk, but I have been using it for over a year now and it hasn't betrayed my trust yet.
Basically you are saying is that you trust downloading stuff cracked/pirated that can have malware inside (yes, I already have seen this happen) rather then downloading the game from the official page that is open to the public and have a company looking if developers do any harm they can be sued.

We have a lot of players playing the game, and if I can't assure you, I know that all other players can assure you that what the game downloads is only new content every single month.

Also, you can disconnect your PC from internet after the game launches, if you are concerned that inside the game will have any malicius code.

Also, I forgot to ask. Do you think that the mods here look for every single game AND look inside the code (when it is possible) of every single game to see if there is any malware?

You should start trusting yourself and what you search and discover on what you download rather then everything else, including us, F95 or any other website that allows people do download any game/executable.

It's a very simple test like cold_arctus said.

przewodo I really like your game, and I just like to know if the only day to download freely is on the last day of each month? Or I can download the last version after the last month as well? For example, could I download the ver. 0.11.5.0 today? And as a fellow dev, I would like to ask is this DRM you're using also available for ren'py ;D?

Hi! No, everyone anytime has the same content. Each time the game launches, it will check if you have the latest version of the game and it will download. The game will release the content automatically.

I did coded everything, no third party plugin or code was used. About renpy, it can easily done BUT also easily be broke since you can decompile it, change and recompile it again.

You know, when apple's latest os sends unencrypted messages home (that also bypas vpn) everytime you open an app, I'm not sure what sandarts would any company have.
And I can see people getting malware from sites that don't even require you to register to upload files.

The overall discussion around this topic here does make me question if my standarts for what I download and launch on my machine are adequate enough though. While I can assume rpgm and renpy games should me harmless, I suspect bits of malicious code can be attached even to them. So yeah, I appreciate it.
