It's honestly impressive how much content the dev has put out for this game in such a short amount of time. Definitely one of the few devs on here who deserve the Patreon support.
Once you see the mage and/or warrior paths, you'll probably have an idea of what the deal is with Hassar's red stone. Or at least what it could be.I've played some more, hope you don't mind if I comment again. Sorry if I'm overly critical, but again, I finished the path I truly ended up on and I'm playing the rest just to see where it leads rather than because I'm captivated. I gotta say though, I appreciate the variety and branching out, most games' choices have very little meaning, but here you get completely different plots depending on the crucial choices you make.

I'm left with a whole big branch of escaping with Kate, so in the next few weeks I'll probably come to rant about it as well.
I mean, looking at other paths I played and now that I'm on a warrior path with Atilla, I gotta once again applaud the dev for being willing to do basically a few totally separate plots and all of them being decent enough, it'll probably take a lot of effort to stay so different and yet connect to one another without major plot holes (because honestly, Jaeid has to come back if you spared him and went down Hassar's path, Thomas' fate needs to be addressed on the outside and losing war paths, I kinda want more attention to Carolyn and the spymaster in the princess path and so on). So I'm staying hopeful as far as any of my complaints go. It's just that, personally I mostly play plot games, watch movies, read books and things like that trying to predict what happens next (which is why I really like detective stories btw), so while some paths either left an open end with a ton of possibilities and others hinted what will happen next, some left me with many questions, not much of an open ending and not a slightest hint which way they'll go next, which is why I'm so negative about them.Once you see the mage and/or warrior paths, you'll probably have an idea of what the deal is with Hassar's red stone. There are quite a few things that make more sense, or at least it's easier to try and rationalize them, once you get a certain lore dump. It's very late in the current content of the warrior path, and the mage path has some additional snippets. Although, I don't think it's something you could predict at all, so that may or may not annoy you.I mean, looking at other paths I played and now that I'm on a warrior path with Atilla, I gotta once again applaud the dev for being willing to do basically a few totally separate plots and all of them being decent enough, it'll probably take a lot of effort to stay so different and yet connect to one another without major plot holes (because honestly, Jaeid has to come back if you spared him and went down Hassar's path, Thomas' fate needs to be addressed on the outside and losing war paths, I kinda want more attention to Carolyn and the spymaster in the princess path and so on). As for the Old Soldier path, I'm dead serious, I'd rather leave it a dead end or delete it and make it go down some solitude path rather than him. He has really nothing interesting about himself for now and again, I can't see any potential in him either. I hope I'm wrong, but again, I can't think of an interesting twist to his plot for now.
I gotta complain about one thing more thing though. Can you please give some greater degree of persuasion to Kate? Like, no way in hell she does all that and Sarah still trusts her, maybe have her fake a letter from Sarah's father or any other sort of proof, because the fact she lied was obvious from the start and it really hurt my immersion to go so far down this path with Sarah still thinking what Kate said was true. Yeh, I'm going to bitch more when I finish them though.
Yeah, I'm playing the warrior route and I got to the demon from the stone or whatever thingy, so I am indeed hoping the rest of the game will tell me more. I would most likely approach the game very differently if I tried out other routes first, I almost feel like the routes where you went with Kate were made first and that's why they make more sense and help me understand the branches introduced later. And indeed they were, for fuck's sake... Oh well. There are quite a few things that make more sense, or at least it's easier to try and rationalize them, once you get a certain lore dump. As for Old Soldier, I'm not gonna say I liked it that much either but it is basically optional, so you can just avoid it if you spare Jaeid or take Hassar's route. That's why I don't think it's much of an issue.
About Kate: Her lie is exposed pretty quickly, and I rationalize the initial decision as seeing a version of Sarah who is excited about being reunited with a beloved (platonic or not) friend, and Sarah thinking she can come back fairly easily if necessary. After all, Sarah has no inkling of Kate's real trauma and addiction at that point, so she doesn't realize that her friend is no longer as trustworthy as she was in the past. Especially if you go for the sex. Young people can do extremely stupid and impulsive decisions, when love or infatuation is involved. That's true even for IRL, let alone a porn game.
Any progress on the slave route? I know that development "near-future" is way different from consumer "near future," but I figure it's been long enough that it's not annoying to check back in.The slave-route is currently in the game, but it doesn't go very far yet, just a handful of scenes. Expanding on it is going to be part of a later update in the near-future, so if you'd want a really big-chunk of content, it would be better to play it after that releases.
