now that makes me want to catch up even more, since im 2 updates behind. Usually lack of lewds means more character deveolopment / character interactions I enjoy or story moving forward. But i'm weird and dont play these games for lewds or care about them haha

Clearly it's not just for that reason. Maybe it's something that happened to the creator/artist/writer/programmer/developer or someone he knows or in a story that inspired him, so it was how he liked to write the story. It's not uncommon in literature since some centuries ago.

It sounds like a hilariously bad decision to accept under the circumstances (vampire invasion incoming, being the only one able to stop it) but i kinda feel like i would just miss content if i decline?
