Not gonna lie to you. I was paranoid about coding lots of choices because this is my first time writing, coding, 3d art. Basically a newbie. I'm sure I'll have more choices in the future since I'm still learning and getting comfortable with this.

I know I have to improve the sex scenes so I hope you see a difference in 0.3 haha. More positions, angles, kinks.

The dingdong comment made me laugh. Didn't realize it was too huge I guess porn really has ruined me.

So I tried to show that he's likeable. Not all girls will like him in the future since they'll all be strangers. The only people who know mc once he leaves, are Aren and Lyra. I hope it makes sense later haha.

number of choices is more than enough, dont go in over-choice frenzy, unless you have coding/developing team with you.
the same goes for "free roam/point-click" events...

sex scene/s (with celia) is/are 99% perfect, just keep it that way.
if you overdo it with "more positions, angles, kinks" you can easily ruin it, as many other devs did trying to please most loud of their fans (which usually are the simplest minfappers)...a little to no payoff and prolonged dev time.

dingdong comment truly is laughable...mostly in regard what some people consider as "huge"
i wouldnt change anything there as well, unless 90% of your funding comes from #tinydicksmatter movement/dingy-support.

and dont push yourself too hard trying to speed up the development, for now the developing period is perfectly fine, as well as updates content (amount of it).

in other words (to say it again), just keep what/how are you doing, youre doing remarkable job so far

Honestly, even 28 is very rewarding. When I started this, I expected to have none. But then people started supporting on patreon and even here. The support and comments I got on f95 were so great and that pushed me to continue even more. So that's more than enough to keep me going. Of course, more $ from patreon would be great since I could keep my day job on hold and focus on this even more(cost of living isn't that high in my country).

Personally, the updates always feel short for me because I want to throw so much content out there. I wanted 0.2a and 0.2b to be one release. 2 months is a lot of time but I get to do this only in my free time so I render as much as I can. I can make the sacrifice of less images and more text but I'm not a fan of those games. I like having multiple poses/expressions in a conversation but I was worried about file size getting too big. Luckily we have heroes like FAPmaster369 who compress the game. (If anyone else has compressed this game before, you're a hero too) . So I guess I'll stick to multiple renders and only cut down if it becomes a big problem in the future.

I can't speak for everyone, but in my opinion the way it is is perfect. For exemple 0.2A had a lot of erotic scenes, while 0.2B has a lot of character development but very little eroticism.
The game is perfect the way it is and should please both the people who want sex and people who want a good story.

Humor is great love the characters and the overarching story while only a teaser seems really interesting.

I don't think the girls fall for MC too fast were meeting him in the middle of his life while these people have known him for years it may seem fast to us but Talitha and Lyra have probably been harboring crushes (maybe subconcious for Lyra) for a while.

Open-world enough for me to feel interactive without getting lost gotta love it.

I know they are all peasants but in a medieval era without birth control a girl losing her virginity outside marriage would be a big deal so I hope the author recognizes that without also making the girls be too prudish.

So long as the author keeps steady updates Ill sub on patreon.

Agreed! The game is not historically accurate at all haha. They should even have dirty shaders on their skin to fit the period in that case. It's just a light-hearted medieval setting. A lot of it will be relatable in the future (knights, duels, castles, war, etc etc).
It's 100% fiction and not even based on certain eras like some games. (example : set in the roman empire etc)
the time period is non existent. Personally, I'd call it a modern-medieval setting.
Even the music isn't always medieval. I kind of picked that up from a show called 'Reign' . It's medieval but there's a lot of pop music in there and I still liked the story so. Just mixing things up xD

Well you have Vampires, Elves and magic therefore anything that looks off can be easily explained by: A Wizard did it!

There's never a reason to form sentences using caps. No issues at all, just open the mod in a separate window, then copy paste the game folder from there to "TheSwordbearer-0.2b-pc" folder and you are good to go.

Or copy the "seasons" folder from the mod inside the "game" folder.

I could be wrong but it looks like you copied it twice once "game/game/seasons/etc" and once "/game/seasons"
having the contents of the mod twice. Which is what's giving issues right now.

Tried playing a certain other popular and humorous game. The dialogue was essentially:
"joke, meme, meme, joke, meme, REEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

The humor here is perfect, and doesn't mess with the narrative flow at all. The jokes don't seem out of place. Very natural. Keep up the great work!

you should extract it again and copy the 'seasons' folder into "TheSwordbearer-0.2b-pc"'s game folder or check if any other files (rpy files) have the same name or not

Yeah I realized the forced sex thing after the first release. I considered changing that and making it optional in the next release but since I'm newish to this

it started really well but this scene was for me an instant turn off, what a shame have to wait for an update to avoid it but at least you want to change it thanks. i don't like forced sex scenes, especially not with prostitutes. even if it was common practice at the time

everything else was great so far, love the renders,sounds and the humor
