I found all the content in the update pointless, both the NTR and the non-NTR parts. Underwhelming and not worth mentioning.
After this update, I already cancelled my paid membership. I'm not going to pay anymore for a project that's going nowhere.
It's an understandable concern and a reasonable decision. I suspect the game was never really intended to be anything more than a quick cash grab the dev could milk the hell out of until his patrons finally caught on and it was time to abandon it for good cuz of reason or, the most popular one in a lot of cases, real-life issues, the same type of 'issues' for which interestingly enough, most devs don't bother to pause payments or delete their accounts, in case of perma abandonment. Funny how logic works.
As it was already pointed out many, many times after the game's first release, the resemblance to other already-abandoned titles from a certain other dev is too suspicious to consider it a simple coincidence. Not only this, but the lack of communication, for the most part, on a dev's end is never a good look on someone's rep who tries to sell a new product to as many customers as they possibly can, not in this or any other bu$ine$$, for plain obvious reasons.
You add to the simple red flags above the fact that the story's struggling to go anywhere while being pulled in two completely different directions at once, NTR and non NTR/romance, with the dev failing, to nobody's surprise, to live up to both audiences' expectations, and you end up with this type of disappointment as a result.
Well, we can't really say the warning signs weren't there or that users didn't point out a lot of the stuff I mentioned on at least a few occasions, so the dev scamming everyone excuse won't hold weight this time.
Tbh, I'm more disappointed to see another wimpy loser of an MC like that trying to shoot waaayy above his league with women like Sarah and Kiara, even Ariana, his own mom, than I am by the story itself and the dev's various 'technicalities' used so far to justify all the delays and the disappointing story, simply bcuz the guy's basically a pixelated
living meme of what most women would picture an incel to look like while unreasonably hating
every single one of them in his long ridiculous rants posted from his momma's dark basement after fapping too much to porn lol.
