I don't think I've ever played Town of passion, so I can't tell if I like it. In any case, I don't like domination, even at incredibly low levels.

Right. Similar to our discussion now. I haven't even tried this game yet to know what this is even about. I personally dl'd it because the dev said 2 things I hate them most are optional. Other devs have said the same, only for us to get a surprise that we don't want.
Anyway, I'm going to take the dev at his word and give this a shot.

people who can't play a game because they want to avoid NTR is like people who can't play a game because it has anal scenes in it. it's ridiculous. it also shows an unhealthy way of viewing things. either you are so connected to the characters that you are emotionally hurt if a character you like cheats on you, or you are so Ego hungry that you can't in any way whatsoever share that character with other random NPC's because apparently it's not fun for you.
it's a video game, not your real life girlfriends, hell I was cheated by women before, still won't refuse a good game just because NTR is part of the game.
this is something that no matter how many times people tried to explain I could never figure out. the closest is if I compere NTR to pissing porn, it's disgusting to me. but it's still a far stretch.
a game that doesn't have NTR also loses on a lot of sex positions and scenes, and I don't know about you, but the females in these games are supposed to be fucked (if I am allowed to be gross for a moment here) that's the entire point. and with respect to your massive penis, you only have one. not having NTR is not having a female being fucked by 3 men at the same time, it means a game is lacking content. whenever a game has a pissing scene I just skip it or I watch it for the lols and move on.
the game maker will lose more people if he doesn't have NTR than if he only has NTR. most people want more positions, an Harem should always be an option at best.

Just because this is a game, I prefer to play it the way I like it. And if you enter the game just for the sake of pictures, then it's easier to look at the thematic packs.

I think the main thing here are that there are roughly speaking two kinds of players of these kind of games. Some (including myself, and apparently you) see them as a sort of interactive porn, where the MC is more or less the tool to see the scenes and story unfold that you want to see. Others see themselves in the place of the MC and really identify with him (hint: those are usually the ones exclusively referring to the MC as "I"/"me" or complaining if you can't change the MC's name
). And yes, some do that to a degree that they can actually get angry or upset at seeing NTR, or "their" girl in any way doing something with someone other than "them". I don't think there is a right or wrong there (even though I have seen some posts where I really had to hold myself back from screaming "It's not YOU! You're not ACTUALLY the MC!!" ). Maybe the immersive players can enjoy a game more deeply (no pun intended) but I think they can also sooner have a game 'ruined' for them because of one or more scenes.

I can't speak for everyone that doesn't like ntr, but in my case, yeah I like to put myself in the shoes of the main character, that is why I don't really like games where the mc is a female for example, I can't really relate to being a female. When I play these games, I like to see the character that I am playing as, "win", and I don't consider getting cucked a win . But I think that the anti ntr people take it too far sometimes though, not every game has to cater to our personal preferences. For me as long as the ntr is avoidable, I don't really care. I just have to make the choices in game that don't lead me to that path and I am good.
