Base game just got an update after being dead for years. It's why this thread is so active again. Not a huge update, content wise, but enough of a change in coding to break the mod completely.

It happens. Dev just took a really, really, extended break. Always said he'd come back and finish the game someday though. Hopefully it's not just a one off, and he actually follows through.
Considering all the years that have passed, it's quite a small update, so I'm not getting my hopes too high.
He might have just needed some emergency Patreon cash and been sitting on this update until he was completely broke.

If you want to try main game while you wait post in the main game chat, someone can prob share a save at the point you need. Sorry I used to have one for each of 3 paths (Love, Corr, NTR) but I wiped them about a year after game was abandoned.

I'm having an issue with hard mode. Even though it says the relationship drops by 20, it actually only drops by 5. Does it make a difference if I have vanilla difficulty on/off? Cheers.

So that was an oversight on my part. When hardmode was removed from the game, I had originally tied the hardmode point loses to the forced NTR path options in the cheat menu for the mod. But with the last mod update I was working on implementing bringing back hardmode and the original difficulty settings as well as a choice too. I had coded those into the area that says where you lose points, but not in the area where the points are actually deducted. I'll be fixing this for the new mod update I am working on now, but for the current update that is out, to get the -20 point loss you will need to set a forced NTR path in the cheat menu for each girl you want to have lose those points nightly.
Sorry about that. I get ahead of myself sometimes and things get missed! But thank you for pointing that out!

I do love these sort of thought experiments too!
As a modder I am a bit limited by what assets I have access too. The actual assets in the game and such.
And while I have tried creating my own assets for the game, they are only approximations of the actual models and settings used to create the game, so don't match up perfectly sadly, just as close I could get to.
I did decide to make the conscience decision to limit the added fan-art scenes to use mostly only those images that I felt matched up, or at least try to match up, with the original game's renders.
But there are so many other wonderful renders in the fan-art thread too! I just didn't want my mod to switch between render styles so abruptly between all it's different scenes that it felt disconnected.
But I am grateful we get to experience those other visions and ideas through those renders in that thread.
And I'm very excited Saddog is back and working towards completing the game his way!

Would you be open to adding "Dream Sequences" for non-cannon fanart to be added? That could allow interesting fanart to make an appearance, creator of it allowing of course, without disrupting the main story/style too much. Some could be accessible from start, some might only be dreamable after certain events in actual story?
The "Dark Paths" added by SAZ reflect some of the dynamics you mention, but he obviously can't go and create extra renders for them. When Saddog's renders allow it (for example Nicole's NTR city trip), the mod provides an experience that's close to what you seem to be looking for.

So we've discussed that very thing before in earlier posts, and many other possible ways to include other fan-arts. And it's a great idea, but in the end, it's just not what I am going for with my mod.
I 100% support others in a creation of their own mod if they want to go nuts and explore all avenues and include as many of the wonderful fan-art renders that are out there.
Many people have even approached me to join those endeavors. Which was very flattering, but even back then, when I had substantially more time, I didn't have the time to split between my own mod and those other projects.
I would have been super excited to play those other mods.
But now, I have time constraints that are for more restricting, other factors in my life that are just a higher priority, so my goals are just to update the mod for the official updates with the current mod content and then to create the twisted and darker paths mod content with the new update content Saddog provides us with.
I don't plan on doing any new scenes right now for these update from my own renders.
Then, when the game it finished, we can revisit the Patreon Reward Add-on as that was making substantial albeit slow progress.
We can then see if I have it in me to add the planned scenes I had intended to add, or even need to, based on the events added in the official updates.
But all that being said, I do think your idea is a good one! Just not what I have planned for the mod.
