Looks like there will be a new update soon
will you keep working in the compatibility of your MOD to this version or you will wait until the new update to continue your MOD???
I would say he will keep going and if new release drops first he will start adding it and not drop a mod for this version.

Back when Dev was building full time there were a couple of times he bet SAZ to the punch and released before Mod was done, normally these times SAZ skipped a mod release until it was ready for current version as unless you keep a copy of the previous release it gets tricky to release a mod on older version than current.
this is totally guess work on my part based on those times though.

Just that it is in process still. Nothing major from my last progress report I'm afraid.

I had finished updating the variable names for the base 0.94b mod so it's playable in 0.95a, but I'm still working on moving any new content over, then I have to start working on twisted and darker paths content.

As always it's been busy, but I keep trucking along. (y)

Hey all, my save files stopped working. Does anyone have a save for both ntr and non ntr they could share? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

I think he updated the mod to 9.4b and said the saves were working now but it is not up to date which is 9.5 something I think.

Mod Update Progress Report:
It has been busy busy. But I keep working on this as I can. And Saddog has released a new update as well! 0.9.6!

Not a bad thing at all, but as Saddog is putting out releases again at a consistent rate working towards the end of the game, I will just keep working on the updates to the mod in sequential order. Finishing everything in update 0.9.5a first, then putting out a release for it. Then immediately starting on the next mod update.

As such I will just be doing a single release for that mod update(0.9.5a) and not worrying much about refining it if there are any minor bugs that get missed, but please do let me know about them, as I will be fixing them in the next mod update(0.9.6).

That way you should be able to play the new content at least a little bit sooner, for each update.

So keep your installs for 0.9.5a if you want to play that mod update version, or you can wait to see if my mod updates catch up to the current release of what Saddog has out (although honestly, I will be lagging behind a lot with my work load outside of my modding).

And as someone mentioned earlier, there wasn't actually any Darker Paths content added in 0.9.5a.

But there is some in 0.9.6 according to the change long, so there will some added for that.

Just trying to keep you all in the loop! Hope you're doing well!

No, it does not with any version past 0.9.4b.

Saddog needed to change all of the variable names because of a change with Ren'py.

So it made the mod mostly incompatible with the new update.
What do you use to edit Ren'Py code? I find "Visual Studio Code" useful for editing code in general, and I use "WinMerge" to help transfer code between versions of a game.

This was in response to the 0.9.4b version of the mod working with the new 0.9.6 version of the game.

I have already posted in a previous mod progress update that I have a working version of the code for the update for the 0.9.4b events right now. It wasn't difficult to do. Just time consuming.

WinMerge doesn't really help me move things from the original files into my mods files, as my mod file are heavily modified from the original files.

I can use a simple difference check with the original version files, say 0.9.4b to 0.9.5 to see the changes and them move them over as needed to the mod format.

I also use VSC.

My biggest deterrent, as I mentioned before, is that I don't have the time as I did before to dedicate to working on the mod as I did previously. I have other commitments.

But thank you for your suggestions. They are appreciated. (y)

Anyone know how I can just change how much money I have in the game?
If you type "save editor online" there is a website that you can drag your save file over to it and edit stuff then download that file and paste it over the original.
If the game has a anti save file tampering file the website will let you know and how to remove it as well.
Not all save files will be compatible but most are.

when can we have 9.6.0 update?
You realise that the tyrant game was on hiatus for around a year or so and out of the blue they put out 2 updates a month apart?
What saying is the author was gone and suddenly put out content that the person modding it has to find the time in their scedule to go through the game, adjust their modifications based on the differences between the past and present versions, possibly add or remove certain features (such as the loving corruption/ corrupted love), make sure it doesn't break the game etc.
It takes time and as far as I understand it Saz was still working on the 95 version and not the one that just came out.
