script fix is ixnay on the fixay..started new..didnt work..fresh install ..piffles
restarted again..and it worked..pfft..stupid this and that..restarted after i put it in first time and it was still broke..now its fixed..twilight zone dude :O

Could you please describe more clearly what you did to get the fix working? I've deleted the gamefolder, extracted the zip, replaced scripts.rpa with the patch. I think this is a clean install, right? Started the game, bug still there, which I think happened to you as well. But after that you managed to get rid of the screen overlay, and I'm unable to. So what's your secret sauce?

this one scene is very important. it set a strong foundation for the game story line and allows developer to fully utilize the skills and assets that set the tone of the game so that everyone can enjoy the best quality of the game. Happy fappening gents!

first i deleted the scripts.rpa..then put the fixed one in the game folder..renamed it to script rpa..started new game..error was there..exited..grumbled and shook my fist...opened the game again and WTF..it is fixed now...so..no effin' idea...LOL
How much content is there in this update? I don't want to download gigs of data for 5 minutes of content

With opening the game, what do you mean? Loading an old save? Me, I'm starting a new game and running through/skipping the introduction until the game proper starts. And the overlay stays, no matter what I do.
Edit: always test, don't assume. Actually going through the introduction removes the overlay with the patched script. Skipping it is still bugged.
