Hello everyone,
here now some more explanation about update 0.9.5 and the review I got from the Patreons Trust & Safety team and how it‘ll affect the update/game.
First something about the content of the update. I was able to get the reactions in this update as long time planned, I also needed to modify the whole code.
So the girls will alter their reactions towards you depending on how you treat them. This will already happen from one event to a newer one.
For example: You do some corruption actions with Nicole at 8am/living room. Then you meet her again at 11am in the kitchen. She‘ll be more reserved towards you, because at first she‘s confused about the boldness you handle her (corruption path). With further events on this path she‘ll alter her behaving more and more and get more open to the corruption/became more open to her sexuality. When you decide to meet her some time before, maybe at 9am at the club, you can see her altered reactions already there.
So their reactions are dynamic and not tied to specific events you need to see and you can choose yourself how fast you want to corrupt or love them (or get NTR‘d).
Also there will be some new sexual encounters for Cassandra and Alexis, because they‘re lacking of sexy times to raise their stats.
Some events are extendable with new actions now (when you raised the stats), like the 8am event with Nicole in the living room.
There some events for the love path and NTR of the city date.
A new event where you can get rid of Frank and death people won‘t show up in the events anymore.
And more story events.
Also many fixed bugs.
The discussed plans for some kinds of wedding or corruption bonds are delayed for now, more about it in the following explanation.
As you may noticed the patreon site changed and I cut the ties to my first game.
The reason of this is an other review I got from the patreon Trust & Safety team a few weeks ago.
They wanted me to abandon „the Tyrant“ and I had some tough discussion with them to keep the game here.
Another external piracy site, which offer my game as a download, claimed that it‘s possible to enable incest in my game without modifying it with additional files. (I think they offered an already modified game, so no external files are needed to add).
I can‘t name the site here, but it‘s name starts with an F. Some may know which I mean. So I assume patreon knew about this external site, because they have set a link to my patreon.
It took me a while and a long conversation to clarify that there some mods out there to modify incest and other stuff in the game and the game itself is free of this content. Also I learned in the conversation how patreon defines incest.
Original quote from the T&S team:
„We define incest as sexual activity between family members or relatives. We also include a larger extended family, which means that we don’t only look at the bloodline, but also stepfamily members whether or not they are bound by law.„
The second sentence is the reason, why I‘ll delay the bounding stuff until I find a solution for it that pleases the T&S team.
Some of you may suggest now that I should leave patreon like some other creators did, an I had that also in mind, but as I looked out for other sites like SS or else I realized, that they had also the same vague rules as patreon and some other cons (like no paypal). I want here completely open. What started as a hobby and became my main job (after I lost the other) is very expensive (especially the 3D assets) and time-consuming and I don‘t want to move the game at this time, when it‘s nearly finished.
The new planned game is set up to different compared to The Tyrant, so I won‘t get any problems with the T&S team there.
Also the T&S team searched my name in the net (saddoggames) and found my blog, which had no links set to patreon. They explained me that I‘m not allowed to offer content that is against that rules above on any websites in the whole internet which are bound to my patreons name and are an official site. So I cut the ties to the old game and it‘s not possible anymore to download it from any of my sites officially, but it‘s still somewhere in the internet available.
I wrote this as an explanation for further content questions and as I know that this text will show up in some forums, as a hint or help for other developers.
I‘ll release the update on Friday, 06/19 or Saturday 06/20, depending how fast I can finish the testings.
