Look how long saddog is on patreon and compare how big the communities on both plattforms are. Do you have more freedom on subscribestar? 100%. Do you have as many people who might be willing to support you? No.
Its not always as easily done as people think.
If the dude announced that the only way he can complete the story, and clean up the bugs was to go over to subscribestar, but he can't do it without his supporters....he would have most, if not all move over to help support him. Thing is, he just quit, without giving his supporters an option. Coulda shoulda, woulda, but end result is the same....he never even tried.

Thats what you think. A lot of people don't want to go to SS alone because they'd have to use different payment methods.
But yeah its easy to simply blame him for giving up without knowing the exact circumstances why he gave up and i know that no one here, at least not from the people who frequently shit on him, really cares.

That's simply not true. Subcribestar doesn't involve Paypal but credit cards, and Patreon payments are far more user friendly. Not to mention subscribestar is shady deal, firm is registered both in US and Russia, probably to avoid responsibility in both jurisdiction... Also, Developers first must achieve certain amount of income at SS in order to get their share.
Besides of that, you don't need to at subscribestar in order to improve bugs. Also, Patreon didn't warn him because of Tyrant, they warned him because he was promoting My Legacy at his Patreon (it's pure incest, mand nails his nieces, from the time when incest was allowed)

hm , i stuck with no progress...
after some extra couple of ingame weeks there is nothing new in help/hints menu
phone shows steve and some unknown/hidden npc.
also, any relationships with bartender girl and bigsis gym friend?
looked in some fans art thread saw some new to me scenes

1) The proof is in the Saddogames history... (always works on game when he have time)
2) this game was always with 1 update at year...
3) the story is almost ready
4) there are a lot of renders ready for the future updates
This dev do not care about money or what you and me thinking about him.
He only works on the game when he feels like it
5) the most important thing about abandoned tag in this site is....
THIS IS JUST A STUPID RULE OF THIS SITE (after 3 months of silence the tag is automatically added)
(there are no other sites that have this rule talking about artistic artifacts)
it is not a divine universal dogma
it is NOT abandoned in the Patreon and his blog website is live since many years ago

Do you think that a web domain (saddoggames.com) to stay alive do not requires some fee???
I also have my own domain... if I do not pay every Year the site will be no reachable using the domain name even if the host is for free.
But this is not a free host...because free hosts comes with a lot of ADDONs
