at the start of a new game you can choose to turn NTR on or off. turning it off disables NTR. if NTR is on then in the game at some point each girl will meet someone who is interested in them and talk to you about it. if you tell them not to interact with that person then that will disable NTR for them, if you tell them they can interact with that person then if their opinion of you falls too low (negative) then they will have NTR scenes. you used to be able to pick 'hard NTR' mode which makes enables NTR all the time, but at least in the most recent patch i haven't seen that option.

i get it, i tend not to back people that haven't completed a decent game (as i don't yet trust that they can follow through). Saddog is like many others which takes a long time to do updates and misses deadlines, but unlike most other devs he doesn't really do the whole social media thing so people don't know what is going on. that is the downside, but on the upside he does tend to disable the patreon income when he is at a deadlock and can't really produce anything (which means he milks people less than other devs), and after a period of silence when you think the game is abandoned he swoops in and drops an update. what that means is that while things might seem abandoned they might not be. most other devs it would definitely mean the game is abandoned and they are just taking money for no reason. obviously the best thing would be for a dev to always drop an update on time and pause anytime a deadline is missed, but Saddog is not that good, nor is he as bad as most devs which walk away and keep taking money. something to keep in mind is that when you back on Patreon (or any other service) you are over paying for the product if you aren't gaming the system, so make sure you can afford to spend what you are spending (I have seen people throwing money they should be spending on paying off their debts, and then getting upset that they are in debt). the devs don't really want to think of it as charity, but it is charity of sorts. you are paying extra to keep the development of porn games going, on a dev by dev basis. so it isn't that the supporters aren't losing, it is that they should realize that they are paying extra to begin with and be okay with it, and the specifics with the dev they are supporting.Guy is protecting who?
I'm tired of playing a bunch of games and getting to it all the time, abandoned.
It turns out that those who are losing with this are the supporters who spend their money on something badly used, which doesn't even have a good return.

as much as i like the original authors writing and concept and would like him to finish the game maybe saz could take this game up and probably finish it in a year instead of his outdated mod as he's not a million miles away from the original unlike some modders of other games.

I really doubt he would finish it in a year. No offense to him but that guy updates his mod almost as often as I change my underwear(once or twice a year)

If he would hand it over to someone else it wouldn't be the tyrant anymore, it would be something else because everyone has a different writing style + a different style of rendering. If you go and take a look at the SAZ mod, that adds extra scenes, you'll see that. Plus that it is his game so there is no reason for him to hand it to someone else unless he really wants to see it finished and isn't capable of doing so for what ever reason.
I get that it is disapointing that saddog handles the game how he does, but there is no way in changing it, especially not if he really suffers from depression. I wish he'd continue it too and i'm sure he will but he'll do it at his pace if he does.

I'm not demanding anything, but when you take in thousands of dollars in patreon only to ghost everyone you owe your supporters something. I get that there's circumstances that may prevent him from continuing the game temporarily however a simple message would be appreciated. Ghosting everyone is a shitty thing to do and saying "its his game".... well I genially believe he forfeited that when he took in thousands of dollars in patreon. With all that said, the spirt of the question I posed was if he's inconvenienced by something send a message, suspend any patreon contributions, or as a last resort hand off the project to the community that supported you.
Also I have played the SAZ mod and I do enjoy the extra scenes. However after checking out saddog's patreon I see that he does a lot of simple renders of the girls and it leaves me wondering why doesn't he just add a few scenes here and there himself? I get that he may have depression (and he should put his mental health first and foremost) but it's starting to seem (from my perspective) that he's milking the patreon and his supporting community. I love the game idea... the story, the characters, even the sandbox style and I wish he'd continue it. But seeing his unpredictable posting and everyone's cavalier attitude with his ghosting habits I'm not holding my breath.

To be honest the only thing a dev owes anyone on patreon is honesty, due to the actual business model of patreon, and he mentioned at least once that he suffers from depression. Is it a smart move to ghost his supporters? Fuck no, but non of us really understands how depression changes how someones mind works.
Ah reading the second part of your post i see the milking accusation again, which really kills any interest in me to hold a proper discussion. Keep thinking he only milks because its easier to do that....
