The SAZ mod or any other mod isn't going to work with this, everything will have to be updated, as said in the mod thread there is "micro changes" all throughout the gmae. There isn't much "new" content, but lots of changes and updated graphics, etc.

You can use this: Universal Ren'Py Mod / URM [2.4] (mod any Ren'Py game yourself) <---works for 98.9% of Ren'Py games.

It's just a beta and with some changes, saves might not work with this version.

If you used mods or anything else as well with it that will also be a cause.

Well, I never tried this game mainly because when I found it, it was already abandoned, and I don't play abandoned games.

Now that it's back though... I'm definitely going to give it a try, it was always an intriguing game to me.
