And the changelog reads like what devs used to publish every 2-4 weeks, back in the days when games with this kind of entry-level of technical craftsmanship were deemed acceptable.

Unfortunately, now, without animations, this game is not perceived as it was five years ago. I think it would be better to do a rework with animations.
