You don't remember if you played 0.94 (you don't even know what you mean by "old build"), it came out years ago (literally years), and you more than likely don't have it on your machine before asking.

Coming back to replay this bad boy after awhile because another game is hella delayed-anything super different/new about 9.6 compared to the old build? If I've played before will I mind the lack of the SAZ mod or is it unnecessary?
For reference last time I played I think I recently killed Davide and let the dad hang himself-this was on the non NTR version but I'm sure I had a full NTR path around the same point I just lost the laptop it was on. Appreciate y'all

That depends, did you prefer using the SAZ mod (that's only compatible with 0.94 currentle) and won't play it otherwise?
Killing Davide has been part of the game since 0.91, so that's several versions ago.
Genuinely don't know which version it was(Hard to keep a good mental timeline with this game given how old it is/it's dev history ngl). Just remember killing Davide and taking Alexis into the city. And that I used the mod frequently.
I don't NEED need the mod to play unless the newer versions(I assume around .93-.94) are drastically different or it became more difficult for some reson. I know how to use URM so a lot of what I needed the mod for before I don't. I just don't have the old saves to reference as I go hence why I asked.
The only real "drastic differences" come from using the mod or not.
Differences in UI, able to change the context of scenes/paths, and the addition of a mix of integrating fan art and the patron reward images.
The mod doesn't really do anything that URM allows for, that isn't in the game already.
As it stands, there' no need for URM for cheating (game has had in-game cheats for a long, long time, possibly even from some of the earliest versions of the game, as well as a in-game guide as well).
There's no real choice-specific situations for URM either, as everything's sign-posted with obvious love/corrupt icon interaction symbols.
Ultimately, it again comes down to whether or not you want to play with the mod or not. If so, you can't go past 0.94 in terms of content.

after all the history with this dev-you ask why,a better question would be why 214 idiots-sorry i mean patrons are still paying.its obviously not the devs fault who is going to say no to free money,sad really but these are the times we live in

This has happened several times, including multiple times leading to it being labelled abandoned here on F95.
Sadly he was NTR'ed in Real Life
What needs to happen is, as this game is abandoned, someone needs to take over and finish the game. He can not come back and say someone stole it because he has abandoned it there for its up for grabs now. Would suggest who ever takes it over works with SAZ to make the game perfect though
