Hi, I can't seem to get the apk to work. I followed all the steps but the apk file refuses to run. I get the "Keeps Stopping" error.
Delete it and download again.I downloaded the same it worked in my android device I downloaded it then through Mega app then opened the mega folder in file manager installed the game and the obb thats inside obb folder I cut paste it in my android obb folder and it's working fine for me
Man... I know how saddog feels. A friend of mine was a gigolo and he had something similar to saddog , but a bit worse. He was in a really bad mental health after working for a year. Yeah because its the most important thing to inform people on the INTERNET about your personal problems when you are in a unstable state also keep in mind that the people here are neither friends nor colleagues of him, they are strangers. for that sum, saddog should at least tell the patrons whats going on.
its not just an anonymous dude anymore, its a payed dev and of course, like any job, u need to tell your employer if you are sick or not.
i get it, a lot of u are not patrons and get games for free and want to defend him,
a perspective from saddog's p.o.w, is to understand him, to support him etc. and I get that.
but even so, he is still payed to do a job. and the minimum is to tell "im sick".
for that sum, saddog should at least tell the patrons whats going on.

But Saddog is not employed by the Patreon supporters.
Making the game is not his job and even if it had been, $2,280 is a low wage in a lot of countries.

Hello everyone
I have a new problem with renpy. Last week it used to work perfectly, but for 2 days (maybe before I don’t know, but less than a week), I cannot read the imagemaps.
I post this here because The Tyrant is the game I know which uses imagemap the most – sandbox forms, it’s logic. But I have the same problem for every game, and to create renpy games too. I uninstalled renpy creator, but it changed nothing. Turn off the computer, etc. but nothing. And I found nothing on the net, on forums, as my problem.
I never had this before. I changed my linux version 2 years ago, I had several problems, but not with renpy. I’m a bit desesperate.
Also, Saddog is back, and I want to play the next release...
I’m on linux, and I’m an amateur, far from pros, but I can follow instructions.

i am new here (the tyrant) and support saddog at patreon (tier4) and once sent him a pm but he didn't answer me because maybe many others have already written to him and he missed my pm .. no idea.
i'm pretty confused and hope you can help me. what's the difference between tier4 and the others? can i get a separate version or do i have to play the same as the other tiers? it's about the special renders, how do I get there? I restarted the game several times because I feel like I skipped something ?!

The game is the same no matter if you're on tier 4 or below, except for tier 1 where you don't get the game at all.
At tier 4 you theoretically get a render each week (in case saddog doesn't go underground again). But it's just that, an image. It's not included in the game, it's just a picture to look at.
You go to the Patreon website and log in to see the renders
I can see people getting depressed especially developers because as much as they need motivation to keep going, the ones who criticize them a lot and if they take it seriously, will also hurt their motivation just as quickly. It's unfortunate, but the internet world can be just as mean as it can be kind. Trolls everywhere, I learned that when I joined a social media app. I didn't realize how quickly things can spiral out of control in such a short amount of time. That being said, losing a job and not being able to find another is depressing in itself.

He has returned. He posted on his patreon not too long ago. Turns out he lost his job and fell into a depression that including drinking. was dealing with some real life issues. He is planning to start doing this full-time. Hoping focusing on this will help him bounce back in his life. He plans on getting the next update out in a few days and hopes this will give him some remission. He knows he must do better with communcation even though he is introverted by nature. Expect update 0.9 with in a few days but absolutely this month.
