It is another game where only a tiny patch is needed to restore the intended incest, as opposed to a mod that has to make numerous changes throughout the game.

Could be a bit more realistic (I know it's a game, but...); for example, once MCs stepfather commits suicide and you do nothing to avoid that, there's no investigation neither a burial (even only a reference)... Nicole and the girls could dress according to that situation too, or exposing a message like 'Some time later' or something... In order to really improve the story...

The incest is hardcoded into the original game. The incest patch just flips a switch to make it visible. That's why the patch never has to be updated when a new version of the game is released.
