Any way to change the aspect ratio? Game is launching in fullscreen and I can't get to options to change it.
Hey! Ah so theres been 2 recent hot fixes for the PC version, one of which adds in window settings, just in the options.
If youre unable to even get there.

Run it once
Go to your C:\username\appdate\LocalLow\YoraphimDev\The Unseen Depths
Open The OptionData.json
Replace everything with

{"m_useHotkey":false,"m_language":0,"m_fullscreen":false,"m_customResolution":false,"m_customResolutionX":1920,"m_customResolutionY":1080,"m_audioVolumeMaster":0.5,"m_audioVolumeMusic":0.5,"m_audioVolumeUI":0.5,"m_audioVolumeVoice":0.5}

Should launch in windowed mode.

Hey there! While messing around in my vm I found out that your game does not work on larger screens, for example 3440x1440. The UI elements aren't anchored properly and go out of bounds

Well that's pretty neat. I'm not a lover of AI, but this AI isn't all that awful. You'd have to be a really great artist and spend forever on things without it as well, so I mean, I get it. Customization like this is very daunting to attempt to depict visually without such things.

But anyway, this is pretty neat. If it can get the virus weirdness sorted and expand on the adult content further, I think this could be very impressive after some time passes.

YoraphimDev navigation is horrible, I have no idea where I am, I didn't grow up on Zork and I don't want to have to make a manual map. Navigation in this sort of game shouldn't actually require any choices of direction -- it should be entirely linear, a 'back' and a 'forwards', with no side options, you just have to survive going forwards, with options to stay at a place and do things at a place.

For example, I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually START a delve!

also, is there any way to do shopping and leave? I can't exit out of the shops, there's no leave button and I've pressed every key possible. I tried to buy some food to not starve to death, but I can't figure out where I'm supposed to eat if the shops don't work

Yeah completely agree at this point, navigation can get confusing. I have some plans, like potentially a map of some sort, order the navigation buttons based on where you're came from and where youre going, rewriting the description to be much more obvious etc.
Essentially I want to build a great big open world, with lots of unique areas for you to explore and discover, each with thier own events, lots of branching paths, etc. Its never going to be linear, so might not be for you, theres another game I used for alot of inspiration called "Abyss Diver Interactive" alot more linear.

This is a new one I havent seen. Ill be sure to check it out! When playing, remember this is super early in dev still, so expect bugs. If you are looking for something finished, Ill recommend coming back in a year.

Resolution wise, thats the plans for the next update, getting it working on different screens and mobile phones.

I'm tired of waiting with my tiktok attention span, here you go, an assembly version V0.0.12(PC) with no hunger drain...

Just change this file in 'The Unseen Depths V0.0.12(PC)\The Unseen Depths_Data\Managed'.

Also keep a backup copy of the original assembly file in case something breaks:coffee:

ps: really cool project by the way, I can see this project doing great in the future with development :)

So, how do you go down? IE, to the meat of the setting? The depths? It isn't obvious in your current game.
At this point theres a gondala in the center of town, there will take you pretty much all the way down to the bottom of Layer 1, There is no content for Layer 2 or onwards

Or theres a path out of the west district

So what features does this game have right now, then? The tags imply a lot -- but what's actually IN the game?
