So the ending screen shows: "End of Version 0.1". Is this just a typo or what? It shows that right after

Well at least you put it in a spoiler... Instead of the actual pic you meant. But yeah, a small bug is all it is. They said something about it not very many post behind yours.

Lasted 5 minutes, I am not saying it cannot get better, but its just rough.
- Opened the game, it launches in (probably) russian language
- Switching to english language doesn't help that much as the game has missing translations
- The first 5 minutes is just jarring, the narrative just doesn't flow naturally, conversation just feels off(missing translations really dont help here)

I flat out just gave up after this, I dont have a mood to play a game where half of the conversations will not be in english.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the rough experience.

I think I understand what you mean now, the language option isn’t very visible right now. I’ll move it to the main menu in the next update so players don’t have to search for it in the settings.

As for the missing translations that’s strange, since I tested the English version and everything seemed properly translated. Could you please tell me where exactly you saw text still in Russian? It’ll help me figure out what went wrong.

English isn’t my native language, so some lines might sound a bit unnatural.

Thanks again for pointing this out!

I can't speak for every example, but in the basketball scene (Alex/Nate), line after (Alex) "You know, I'm glad you're in the group...", Nate replies in Russian (Cyrillic text appears, so I assume it's the default line), and Alex then responds "Yeah, I think it's worth grabbing a couple of books. ...". (I believe it's something about routine and needing to get books.)

It's certainly an issue. I've put down the game down a few times because it's hard to get through. It's not as bad as other games/stories out there, but the rapid-fire introduction scenes (first couple of days of university) have a lot of new information, and new people, coupled with that awkward/unnatural feeling, so it's a bit draining. Nothing that can't be overcome by someone who wants to read the story, and the weight of the two issues drops after you know more people.

Not that it helps to know too much, but it's a common problem. The only real 'fix' for it is to space out some of the new information. I'm not sure how you'd do that in this case/context, but if you're going to add new people later, spacing out the lore/info dumping helps a lot if you can't polish the language to take that half of the strain off. (I certainly couldn't do it in Russian, so I'd space it as best I could.)

Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation that helps a lot. I’ll check the basketball scene you mentioned. It looks like that line somehow slipped through the translation process. I’ll fix it in the next update.

And I completely understand what you’re saying about the flow of the early dialogue and the heavy introduction of characters and lore. You’re absolutely right, it can feel overwhelming, especially when the writing isn’t as smooth as it should be. I’ll definitely work on improving the pacing and polishing the dialogues so they feel more natural and engaging for players, no matter which language they choose.

My goal is to make the story easier to follow and more enjoyable for everyone, so your feedback is really valuable.

Why does this game have a sex path lol. Tried to do that drinking game for 30mins and came here for answers only to find it has a sex patch hahaha. The sex scene was hot af. I really like the Rina one, very spicy. Good one on that.

The story was...okay I guess. Lot of weird reasonings, like the whole flashdrive being in the school was kinda dumb. The guy just brought the flash drive in the school just because, was not a good reason (unless I missed something). Also Alex saw MC find the flashdrive then give it to the librarian, took it and put it back so MC can pick it up....to test how he would react?? That part was so confusing to me. I get he thought MC was someone else but, it still doesnt make sense on why he did that.

I just think the reasonings in the story is not good. That's all. The animation was hot tho. Need the Rina type scene with Gwen ;). Good luck with the game.

The writing is much smoother around/after meeting Nika. The personalities become clearer, though there are some minor idiomatic things that keep everyone close to one another from time to time. Some of the idioms are partial or a bit odd too (when he's getting measured for his clothing).

Adding translation issues in the spoiler below (in the event people haven't played through enough so they don't know about events):

It's also weird to see thoughts as quotes instead of in some form of brackets. The norm is (My thoughts) whereas "My thoughts" feels like some kind of spoken projection. Other games have also gone with putting Character (Thinking) as the speaker, which I tend to prefer. (Though the bracketing allows for thoughts or actions inside a text block.)

The story itself, up to the end of 0.2, isn't really my usual setting, but it flows fairly well. Unlike a lot of games, at a similar release size and length, it doesn't get terribly sidetracked.
