Maybe a blessing in disguise; unlike Steam Itch does not blanket block countries AFAIK. So when he goes full Itch he'll probably get several buyers that wanted to buy it but could not.

About the content; I think I have an idea what he means and its good that its not possible; but I would assume that Steam also means look alikes of RL people which in context of the game mechanics could also be very problematic.

But TBH; I guess if that would be covered too with a game like this they would very likely make a detailed search for another reason to give it a boot.

What a crapton of bs, they ban it cause "sliders" ??
They banned it because those sliders if set to 0, could make a character look 17 or younger, and thus would constitute as child pornography, and if Steam got caught with that on their platform, they could be in serious legal trouble.

The game dosnt work for me.
I can download and run it, but when i want to start it in Vr i just see darkness, and when i start it in desktop mode, I can´t exit this weird glasspot-thing. I also can`t see or alter any of the setting exept the keybindings.

I tried downloading it on another device and it works just fine (sadly that device is to old to run anything without overheating). Can someone pls help me?
Possibles:

1) It doesn't like your VR Headset. It might only support specific headsets.
2) It might be maxxing out your resources. Check task manager when the game is running in VR mode.
3) It really doesn't like your VR Headset, so you need to disconnect it from your tower to play in Desktop mode.
4) Your machine lacks the proper Redistributables. I can't remember if Unity packages those as an .exe in one of its folders.
5) By weird glasspot thing, do you mean the cloner tube, you start the game in? You have to wait until the robot lets you select skip tutorial. Takes about 1 minute of dialogue.

The pedophiles moderating Steam will see small body types and immediately think about fucking children, then project it onto everyone else and ban the games potentially ruining developers livelihoods in the process.

Oh dumbass, so only the Steam moderators are allowed to call game developers pedophiles? because that's what means to accuse a game of having "exploitation of children".

I think you missed or is purposedly leaving out the part where Znel did all that and was still banned.
If Steam had concerns that the sliders could be abused, that means that Steam found a way to abuse the sliders to produce underage looking content, and figured that users would figure out how to do the same exploit. So despite Znel putting in safeguards, Steam found a way around them and if they could, then others likely have as well.

So I'd actually check to see if you can produce underage content by abusing specific sliders to produce a specific result. Instead of setting all to 0, try some at 25, some at 0, and some at negative values.

I think you missed or are purposefully leaving out thinking capability.
Common sense isn't so common anymore. Usually if Steam bans something its usually for a good reason. Znel said he put in safeguards, but just because a road has guard rails, doesn't mean cars can't find a way around them or through them.

I'd suspect that Steam discovered a glitch, an exploit, or a hidden backdoor that let them create underage looking content, and if they could find it, then users likely have as well.

You are absolutely right, however, wouldn't that apply to almost every game?

Most games don't have nudity, customization sliders, actual pornographic elements, or have content meant to offend someone in it.

If say Black Desert Online allowed for nudity and sex in the game, I doubt they'd allow it on Steam. As a lot of Asian characters are intended to look "young".

Exactly right.

What is included in the game vs. what can be modded into the game are two different things entirely. And I think VALVe have concerns about the former.

I don't think I'd call outright banning the developer instead of warning him so he can patch it out as "common sense" specially since the developer himself stated that is not intended behavior of the sliders.

I'm not a fan of eternal development Patreon games, however I'm far less fan of developers being unfairly banned, Znel is not some epstinian conspirator trying to smuggle CSEM in to steam, he's making his game and went out of his way to try to conform to steam's unclear and inconsistent rules about bodytypes (its not even about age anymore), yet he's not even allowed an appeal or way to rectify it so his game can return.

But you're right on something, if we pretend Steam is always right and Znel did everything wrong then its fair and totally not bullshit :poop:
