I had the same issue after downloading the torrent on my Mac and then transferring the files on my PC. I downloaded the torrent again directly on my PC with a different torrent client and it worked fine.
Did you get yours from a torrent?

it should take 5-6 days before changelog becomes publicly available.
at least that's how it used to be.

Anyone got the cheat code for beta 33? Also there is the setting in the character creator named 'gloss' with min and max gloss settings. What determines the gloss effect?
