I hope the dev abandons whatever weird post-apocalyptic story he has planned and retcons this game to the sex romp it is or just finally gets on with it.
He has stated he's postponing it because it is all depressing but just having that hanging over the game is impeding my ability to fully get into it.

A lot of devs seem to feel compelled to have actual depressing shit in their porn games for some reason, as if the one goal doesn't completely contradict the other. I find it personally very annoying, but most folks seem game to ignore it, or even like that sort of thing.
For this game specifically it sounds particularly weird - if he's putting off including it, then he's clearly not actually invested in it becoming involved. Though, I suppose at this stage he has fans who want to see where that goes. Myself, I'm planning to completely ignore it, just like all the hints there have been to it so far.
