RPGM - Completed - The Way Home [Final] [Travelling-Cat Camp]

The amount of good games I've played this year is close to zero, and this one is very refreshing. Kuronerinka's art is excellent, such is the sound and the story. Even the actions that repeat themselves bring something new; the overall atmosphere really keeps you tense. Bravo.

This game is a 300 $ bottle of wine in which someone have thrown a bottle of vinegar. It's short and not fully translated (dialogues are though). The drawings are some of the best I've ever seen here. The scenario is decent enough yet not really scary, but it's original and there's pretty unique stuff you wouldn't find elsewhere. But... There's no sex scene at all. Only thing it get is some nudes and that's that. Otherwise, I'd give this game an easy 5/5 but it's not just something you can ignore on a H game site. It's like the girl is continuously about to get some H, yet it never happens.

Neat lil horror game.
Really short and no actual sex scenes makes it a 4/5 for me.
It's also not actually scary, which can be a positive or negative depending on what you're expecting, but there's a lot of body horror and spooky imagery, just don't expect any actual scares.
2 endings (as far as i know), good end and bad end respectively, with the good one being locked behind a "puzzle" of sorts at the end, the bad end also gives you a hint on what to do, but it's not really difficult at all to figure it out yourself.
Good game for what it is, with incredible artwork and lots of unrealized potential.

short and sweet with a nice art style, it doesn't do any hardcore sexual content but the softcore scenes are awesome, the way the erotic and horror elements are blended together is very tastefully mixed, which is a very refreshing seeing as many games that blend the two go for a shock factor by adding some rather extreme elements of body horror to the the sexual scenes, often leaving the average viewer feeling grossed out. Also the translation is a solid 9/10.

One of the best ero horror game I have played on this site so far, anyone that curious about it NEED to download and play it to understand how great it was
Just like some reviewers before me has said, this game aren't truly a hentai game with sex scene but more like a erotic game with horror element in it.
_ Art: The female characters from the MC to all the side characters are well draw and extremely sexy. I'll give this a 10/10
_ Content: Like I said before their design are truly sexy that you expect and wish to see them got ravished and devour but it never truly happen, most of the time it was just exhibitionism with them either being naked or show part of their body like boobs or pussy and the only time their body got violated are simply groping. But it does not make it any least sexy because you will love to see our MC naked body in the bath room, the juicy ass of the fortune teller or the bath owner giant tits. 10/10
_ Story: Even with the lack of sex content it does not make the game bored or uninteresting because the horror element our MC got herself into can make you focus and feel your blood run cold. Our girl got herself into a very terrific experience of her life when encounter many kind of supernatural and being and each day it just got worse and worse, how bad it was? Well, you need to check it out of yourself. The only complain I can say about the story would be how nonchalant and dead pan MC face and attitude are from the start to middle of the story, how in the hell did she saw all that shit and still keep a very calm face? Not until the very end did she finally react and let her survival instinct kicked in. 9.5/10
_ Gameplay: I must say it was a very fun play despite a few days in game you only walk and check out item throughout the road on the way home, but as the game progress it become creepier and slowly turn into a true game.: At first you do find item quest for the fortune girl, then move to guess it right with Hanako by finding the right red balloon, later you had to play Hide and seek with Hachishaku-sama to save a boy and finally a run for your life against the ghost (which is the hardest final quest because of the low stamina and how quick the ghost are). Not just those main quest but each day when interact with some side characters and small event you have a few choices how to response them, I don't know how relevant those choices and can it affect the story later but overall feel like it didn't matter much. 9/10
_ Aside all the pros of this game it did have a few cons that prevent it to become a true masterpiece: Lack of freely saving mechanic, you literally can only play through the whole game from point A to B in one go without any mean to save (the only time it automatically save are near the end) so if you encounter any lewd event you can only memorize it with your brain or use tool to get the CGs out to watch it again later. Second would be no Gallery which truly a shame and if you want to rewatch those CGs again you had to either start over or use tool. The third and final part I feel like this game can be even more than that even with hot ero event, great story, scary horror,... The ending feel very lackluster and even the story throughout the game can be expand and prolong with more choices, more endings, the story from POV of side girls like the fortune teller and the bath owner,.... It need a few DLCs or a sequel with more content in it
Overall this game is a MUST TRY even with the lack of sexual content, a great experience for players that love horror

This was good, but it had much wasted potential. I missed a saving system, a gallery and more endings. Also different rutes like with the masturbator, the nyan cat (maybe with wrong numbers you get raped instead of just groped), the shota, etc. Also, the fortune teller did shit in the end, we never see her again.

Great short Horror Game

This game is more of a Horror Game with Erotic themes than an eroge, as it doesn't have that many pornographic elements. It's a short contained experience that I'm happy I got to appreciate it.

I really enjoyed the art on this game, clearly not slacked off at all, the game shows the character doing the same thing on the same different locations but the art and pose of the character is almost always different (aside from background), the art, as you can see from the poster, is great and is great throughout.

So yeah, the game isn't long and at least to me it kept the tension throughout the whole experience, if you're up for it give it a go.

This is an extremely good game.

Well, more like a small VN with elements of gameplay, but still awesome.
The art is gorgeous, the partial voice acting, sounds, story is amazing, and the horror atmosphere is also really well done.

It's short, has 2 endings, bad and good/true basically, but after getting the bad one , you can continue from the route split if you select "continue" from the main menu.

The translation is also really well made. Coherent, understandable english, it's clearly the product of hard work. I was really worried when I saw the MTL tag, but apart from a few things left in there untranslated due to technical difficulties, (which are not essential in progressing through the game or understanding the story) , everything is fine.
