What am I supposed to run to start the game? The only thing I have is text.exe, which is just a black screen with some japanese message on it.

Seems like their eye condition concerning their corneas has gotten worse and has made it hard to work on the illustrations through the blurriness. They say they will take a maximum of 2 weeks for recovery then try to focus on getting out the erotic scenes.
According to the Free Member section: "The True Route of Witch Knight Anna's Final Chapter is now available exclusively to both free and paid members." It seems there is also a compilation of all the erotic scenes from the final chapter also available. So if you want to play through it this is the version they recommend.

When i first downloaded it, I played it just fine for a few minutes then i quit without saving, because i wanted finish another game i downloaded. But now i can't get it to run and this appears. Anyone know know how to fix this?

I don't think the game is done yet, from checking the Ci-en again it seems like different episodes/chapters of the final entry are being sold separately, but there is also a pack version. Once again this is through a translation program so take everything with a grain of salt.

Disappointed to see that the devs decided to restart the whole VN from the very start again. It's a bit bullshit for us who had already played the 1st and 2nd chapters, and now have to sit through hours of playthrough AGAIN.

I'm not so sure about the devs starting from scratch, I think 4 is just that much bigger. The Ci-en mentioned a video version of the events of the previous entries but other than that it's just new stuff. The upcoming game does have 4 Pov characters, I can see how it would take alot longer especially if each heroine has her own route with their own events. The games have also been getting longer the 3rd game was like twice the length of this one.

The last update there was in January.
In regards to the translation, I don't have much hope of it happening any time soon. The 3rd entry came out nearly 4 years ago and is still in MTL, so I think it will be quite a while till 4 gets it's own translation. But this is all speculation I could be wrong.
I mean, Mtool is always an option if you want to play. Sure, it's not the best option, it's not an official translation, but you can likely figure out most things that happen if some of the text gets translated through Mtool and what you see happening...
