In every attempt, whether you win or lose, I lose, Karen, is this going to continue the game?

Yeah, it's an automatic fail. You can't "win".
It's like Sekiro: You CAN beat the first boss. But if you do: He will magically instantly kill you regardless.
You are meant to lose, so the game can happen. It has no outcome for the rest of the game.

To make a bad analogy: See it like Mass Effect: The redshirt is gonna die at the start of the game, regardless what you do. Then from there: You have to pick paragon or renegade.
Though, this game IS meant to have a few more paths than two. Currently we have: Pethio route. We are most likely at least gonna get a "Karen route" as well. After that: We have to see if they add more. But we do atm have 4 more potential ones. So it's up to the devs which, if any we see after the main/standard route is finished.

Edit: There's an Open Folder button in the lower-right of the Load Game screen. It brings you to the folder below.

Put that in the address bar of an Explorer window or in the Run dialog (Win+R).

Ok, I'm only on the second fight of the game but I can't seem to use the dash? Unlike the move and attack options, clicking on it doesn't seem to do anything. Have I missed a tooltip or control instruction somewhere?

If I recall that part: She mentions that her suit is broken and can't use the dash.
Otherwise: It normally has a cooldown.

Actually, the second fight in the game (in the Peitho stronghold) lets you use the ability. I restarted the game and I was able to use it, dunno what happened.

It should be the one availible in the version here. The one I played at least is just the same as the pethio route. Just that you can toggle all options. (Like most gallery scenes.)

I intend to start the game at the latest version (v0.29) but saw people said about a broken scene. is it gonna prevent me from exploring the rest of the game?

Currently: No, nothing.
There's only the pethio route. It is the only content.

Later versions might add a reason to not increase it. Along with alternate routes. Such as the promised: Femdom, "pure" and lesbian routes. (And potentially rapist. But that was just briefly mentioned and not announced.)
But yeah, currently all the content is locked behind perversion in the Pethio route. So if you want the porn, you gotta go that direction.

They will likely say if they plan to add other routes once the Pethio one is finished. It is all but guaranteed that there will be a "pure route". However: The devs have dodged all questions whether or not that route will contain any content. So there is a chance you'll just get a "Well done, you beat the game with 0 perversion... here's an achievement and nothing else."

i dont get any error messages in the bar,.. but after her panties are gone (i believe 2nd nightshift) and you fullfill the next order you get fingered.. and that freezes the screen and brakes the game
