Inside the unzipped folder, create a folder with the game name eg:"DMD" (could be anything else)
Open the newly created "DMD" folder and copy the "game" folder from 'Windows version of the game'
Go back to the root of the Ren'Py SDK folder and double click on renpy.app. If you get a warning, click OK. On the left, under "Projects", select "DMD".
From here, you can just play from within the SDK, just hit "Launch Project" on the bottom right and enjoy!
Please forgive my ignorance, but how do you "export the game state"? I don't see any export option in Ep12 of Se1. I've copied the persistent save over (in both the /Roaming/RenPy/Thirsty for my Guest Season 2 folder and the /game/saves folder. I don't think I've ever had to export a game state before.

Play the Season 1 to the end (past the credits) and you will be asked to name a save to be exported to Season 2. Then open Season 2 and the save should be there in the "Import your save" option.
Enter TFMG s2 > new game, the game asks for your previous choices like DMD Ch.2-3. Go through all that and have fun playing it !! That's an alternate option to what Aioto said.
It's the safest option to avoid missing content with a specific LI without having to replay the game.

But, then you also miss out on some of the story from season 1 if you missed a few updates like I have. Last time I played was ep 10. I guess that's season 1 now that they switched to a new season.

don't copy any save files or persistent files from SEASON-01 to Episode-13. none of the content of S1 is in EP-13, so you only face errors.
either play S1 to the very end and export the gamestate of your current playthrough to 1 of inf. slots and import it in EP-13 or start a new game in EP-13 and process a ton of questions to setup your S1 choices.

Episode-13 is the start of SEASON-02 and so a new app.

OK, thank you. I hate when important stuff (like creating a save state) is done this way. It's not obvious that it's anything special: "Please save your game here" is literally what every Ren'Py game says after every update. Whenever I see this message, I roll back 2 or 3 frames and then save, which is what happened here. Thanks for the help.
Atleast you tryed that's what counts I used to have PC but life happens and it fried itself lol sad but true so Android I'm stuck with and all the good games gets big and my Android gets stupid with some size file won't install huge files or lil files (shrugs) but atleast u tryed as I said that's all that matters

I added "Recommended" tag next to the best choice so you'd gain the best outcome and the highest amount of scenes! Also allowed you to view scenes that were exclusively available for specific paths! Enjoy!
from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.
have fun and please report problems (you can reach me
it´s really sad...every good going game ,comes earlyer or later with the evil wicked antagonist from the corner...so now here it is ...the girl breaks up --100% the doing of somebody in the shadows, maybe this one womenpartner!? and the next is the MOM....down the drain goes the plot...i know writers freedom and soon...but it´s obvious, wait the next update but i think i know where this goes....for me it´s boring...why not tell the story as something having a good time instead of making problems from the uhhhh shadows...if i want to read a thriller then i read a book but isn´t this a adult VN to entertain....whatever thanks for the hard work but if it gets complicated i´m out...

The In-Game Mod will also work on the SE edition. However, you have to replay from the start of Episode 13 to view and unlock the bonus scenes yourself.
An alternative solution for those who don't want to replay from all over again ; is to use my Gallery Mod , which unlocks all scenes/rewards automatically.
IMPORTANT: For the best experience please play Season 1 (Episodes 1 - 12) using Season 1 - Walkthrough Mod, then follow the instructions at the end of the game on how to create a save file which can be imported and used in Episode 13+.
What's to expect?
