VN - Ren'Py - Thirty Days [v0.07.50] [3DRComics]

A long time ago, I had my eye on this game, and after hearing all the amazing things people were saying about it, I decided to give it a try. Overall, I can say that I liked it, but personally, there are many things that need improvement. First, the issue with the hands of the main female character—her hands are literally those of a man, just with painted nails, and for me, that really takes away from the immersion. Second, the excessive number of characters. This wouldn’t be a problem in another game, but remember that the story takes place over 30 days, and the more characters there are, the less development the others can have, or at least that’s how I see it. Third, the NSFW lesbian scenes in the female route—I found them pretty bland compared to other games.


But there were also things I liked. Alexis is a really good character (and I almost wish the game was just about her). The scene of Kayla’s first time was very well done, and the background music was perfect for the moment. I also like that you can choose your relationship with the girls, whether it's uncle/aunt, cousin, or family friend (though I didn’t feel like it changed much, aside from a few different dialogues). There is potential, and I truly hope the developer learns from their mistakes and gives us an incredible game.

Enjoyed it, and I'm off to pledge. Looking forward to more. Note that I only played the lesbian route, so ymmv if you go another way.

Pros:
* Art quality is high. The girls are gorgeous.
* Body types suit my tastes - fit young women for the most part, no chubby-chasing here.
* Female MC is fully developed. Some games that have that option clearly do not play-test the fem route very hard, the sex scenes are just recycles of the male route with a strap-on mentioned, etc. Not here, if I hadn't seen the choice I'd have thought this was the only route. If you want a game with a incestuous schoolgirl cousins and no naked dude parts cluttering up the screen, look no further.
* Writing isn't bad. It's tough to balance a porn storyline with believability, but the writer does a reasonable job. The characters act human and the motivations feel reasonable.

Cons:
* Needs an editing pass, badly. It's not "google translate" bad, but it's pretty sloppy. I get the vibe the writer is one of these guys who doesn't spell well so he assumes that typos and grammar fuckups don't bother anyone else either.
* The dev isn't milking, but the releases do take time. It's an image-heavy Daz game, so the release schedule is not anything like the kind of monthly clockwork the better Illusion guys can pull off.

This game has a lot going for it. The renders, story and point system are all above average. The ability to choose the MC, while not wholly original, is implemented well. There does appear to be a high level of player agency with the choices you make. I’d recommend downloading the walkthrough to assist with the choices.

One critique is the animations. They flow quite well, but the camera angles are baffling. It’s so odd - you can tell the animations are very good, but you don’t have the ability to really see them that well. You see the back of an LI’s head, close up on face or one body part. It really degrades all the build up and excitement of the moment. It is all pov all the time. If the Dev would simply pan out once in awhile, this game would be top 5% easy.

So, four stars on the strength of the story, renders and UI. Some games can ride their animations with a crap story. This is the opposite - but for the constant POV of specific body parts in the H scenes this would be, so far, a great game.

Cut off at least half side characters would make the game much better, in term of story and time on development. Like mostVN itsintroducing too many characters with dull content, while the game have a interesting core story line to make relationship with the twins in 30 days. I hope the Dev turn the table around and focus on what really important, the game could be much better.

Firat off, the quality of expressions was really 5/5 so a good job on those details, top notch!
Unfortually the rest is really lacking.
The characters while being somewhat unique are also too much alike.
The sex scenes are somewhat clumsily executed and not appealing to me visually 9/10 times.

The story is bareable but for me it quickly becomes dull when mixed with the dialogues that are painfully boring most of the time and to top it off the English is pretty bad.
I would give this game 3/5 if just the typos and dialogue was improved.

Played for an hour or two now.

The story is simple: you take care of some 18 year old twin-girls and their daily life while their mother is absent.
You meet their friends, talk with em and so forth...

The girls are very pretty, the scenes are immersive, dialoges are mostly worth reading since it's about deeper thoughts or what's actually happening between the characters that are around - no meaningless blabla or far-fetched bullshit.

What makes it even more worthy is that the expressions are VERY well done here!
And so are the scenes.

Music is also implemented and mostly unique and enjoyable, but as already stated it's sometimes really misplaced.
Anyway, it's better than no music or some cheap stuff.

I played a bit further now and i'm still excited about the quality of this game.

But since all that has not affected my personal experience enough to stay in the foreground or be rememberable at all, and many other things - that are more important to me - are very well done, i still give a 4* here.

Honestly this might be one of the hottest game I have ever played. I only played the "uncle-route", maybe I try out the other routes when the game is finished. The girls in this game are all fleshed out characters and look very nice. Every scene with them feels very taboo in nature what makes it all the better (only exception is the girlfriend, her scenes are pretty boring but she isnt arround most of the time). Its a believable corruption game, the girls wont jump onto you immediatly but you can instantly feel their affection and the story progression is always steady and smooth. You can feel that some mechanics were changed in the progression of the story and therefore appear and get dropped as the game continues. Still none of that feels disrupting or annoying in nature. Its a enjoyable ride till the end of this update and there are some nice choices here and there. The game feels decently kinky, maybe (and hopefully) there will be even more in the future.

So yeah its a great game.

Also the song in the main menu is somehow kinda good. I stayed in the menu to listen to the full song, something I have never done before.

Excellent game, with great story, high quality renders, branching storyline (and both genders protagonist) and really nice female models.

The only issues are a lack of proofreading, and the slow pace of updates. I considered taking one star for those, but I don't feel that would be fair. This is definitely one of the best games on the site.

So why the poor rating ? The key of immersion is choices in lewd scenes and there are NONE!
It's sad to have such a great project with scenario, graphics and so on, and failed to give immersion by the 101 of the genra.
Hope it gets corrected and then it will be a full 5 Stars!

I'm really enjoying Thirty Days! The story has me hooked, especially because the characters are so interesting. All the girls are definitely standouts, they are gorgeous.

Graphics:
The models are gorgeous, and the environments are nice as well. For me 10/10

Thirty Days! is a game worth playing, in my opinion. I really recommend. All the girls are definitely standouts. they are gorgeous.

So far, I’ve found the main girls to be sweet, with a couple of the side girls being decidedly less so, and a bit more in your face. For the main girls at least, your choices will determine some of that though, and so far, you can reject the advances of all the side girls, if you wish.

There’s a decent stats system, with affection, humour, corruption, perversion, arousal, the girls’ self-image, and how much they like you (some of which are helped by the character choice you make at the start of the game!).

Overall, although it’s early (reviewing at the end of Day 7), I’m liking this game and looking forward to continuing it.

I really like it. It's currently a bit slice-of-life-ish with a clear focus on the development of the relationships. I am fine with that, since it's well done. It feels natural and realistic (within the framework of a porn game).

More importantly, the MC is (mostly) tonot a weird unlikeable creep, which should be obvious but we all know how these games usually go.

What stands out:
+ There is an option for a female or male MC, which is nice. Changes between both paths aren't huge though.
+ Stats matter. You have checks on your Love/Corruption/whatever checks and they may be small changes, but it sets paths apart.
+ Art is great really
++ Characters are unique and varied with their own motivations. Nice.
+++ The H Scenes are WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY better than in other games of this kind. They feel natural and flow really well with the story. They are meaningful in the context of the story.

One thing that is really annoying is the amount of spelling and grammar mistakes. "You're girlfriend" / "I meen" / "Curruption" / "their for you" / "would of" (??) come up all the time. You'd think they'd get your/you're and they're/their/there right 50% of the time at least by pure chance, but it's consistently wrong. It's weird because other than that the writing flows naturally.

Good visuals. The animations are actually very good quality (a rare thing compared to the usual jerky mess in AVNs). The stat system is more complex than usual, with several variables that are a bit more detailed & realistic than you normally find.

The story.... seems, at face value, like it could be good. But in general, this is a very dull game. The sort of AVN that "skip unseen" was designed for. All the girls are basically identical, and even after almost an hour of playing I found them so uninteresting I couldn't keep track of who was who. Just scene after scene of choosing to be
a) a creep, or
b) slightly less of a creep
... to a bunch of teenagers.

In other words, this is just run-of-the-mill porn. No hook, no kinks, nothing interesting or unique. This screams "AVERAGE" from every pore of its existence.
I wish that devs would use some of their patreon money to hire a writer. Not because of typos or grammar, but just to make an interesting story. If I wanted boring porn involving characters I don't care about, I'd just go to Pornhub.

Really interesting game construction. The ability to choose a Male or Female main character is really nice. The graphics are neat and the story holds together. The biography is nice to remember but some people are still missing (Jackie, Misa's sister, ...). I'm looking forward to the update

Thirty Days [v0.06.00] The idea is really good a cousin comes to babysit two female twin cousins. The renders are pretty good and it doesn't use typical Ren'Py model girls that are so prevalent in move VN. Unfortunately the sex is really slow, too slow for my taste. This is more of romance VN then just hardcore sex fest. You can play as either as a male or a female cousin so there is quite a bit of replay value, I have not played as a Female cousin and will probably play that depending on how fast the update are. The releases don't seem to give very much content, but that might be because you are doing both a female and male side of the story. Even with all the drawbacks I'm giving it four stars because I found it pretty good and looking forward to more content.

I like this game a lot.

It has some instances of poor English, but it's passable.

Other than that it seems like both male and female routes are getting attention during development. There is a solid bit of content in both routes with variations between them that adds replayability.

Looking forward to future updates for sure.

Really happy that I just uncovered this game. It is a hidden gem on this site. The girls are interesting, models are realistic, and the writing/story are also believable. The way the choices work are a nice touch. Overall, I can't wait to see where this one goes!

This is actually a very sweet VN. There's tons of nudity and flirty porn and shit there, don't you worry, but it's one of those rare ones when you could actually take the smut out and it's still a great story with endearing characters.
Also, the music is fantastic, so great choice on that front.
My only real 'complaint' ( and I use that term very loosely ) is that while the individual animations are great and very realistic, the slide-show from one to the other is jarring and makes me feel like I somehow skipped a few frames.
Doesn't lessen from the enjoyment that much, though, as again the characters and relationships are this game's best feature.
Oh, and the cute girls.
