VN - Ren'Py - Thirty Days [v0.07.50] [3DRComics]

This is on version 0.05.00.

For clarity, I played on the "female cousin" route.

Starting with the positive, I greatly appreciate the gender selection and, to a lesser extent, the attempt at providing various starting relationships.

Another nicety are the selections found in the "Settings" menu:
"Li with Li"
"Li with Li Autonomy"
"Li with Others"
"Interest in Others"
Which are meant to guard the player from sharing content if they don't wish to engage with it. Always nice to see player choice in this aspect. There are a couple issues with it, though:
- It is not in the "Settings" menu on the title screen, only in the menu found in-game though the phone. This led to me opening the game, going to settings to adjust volume and text speed as I do with every Ren'py game, then only discovering the existence of these settings late in the game.
- They tend not to work, there are a lot of oversights in dialogue and interactions with it.

Aside from that, the models generally look quite good, with the possible exceptions of Dakota and Ava (Dakota's proportions look ridiculous and Ava's stomach seems to change size based on angle).

With those two things out of the way, my experience with "Thirty Days" at this point in time was poor, and I'm mostly going to cover it in a chronological order. Spoilers will be properly marked, but are present to explain incidents in greater depth primarily to provide specfic feedback to the developer. However, as a tl;dr: Clicking "About" on the main menu will crash the game. Yes, this is indicative of the overall quality.

Starting the game, the first thing I noticed were the intro animations, as well as the main menu looping animation. These animations are all very, very low framerate, to an extent that they made me feel sick and I would have vastly preferred still images. In particular, the main menu's background is rather exceptionally poor in this regard due to the massive number of leaves blowing around at a catatonic pace. I'm also generally just not a fan of the breast exposure on the title screen, as it tends to define the tone and characters prior to the player meeting them.

Upon starting the game, I noticed an immediate issue due to my intent to play as female: There is a very awkward introduction to the game where you speak with an "alternate version", as the game puts it, of Kayla. This is where you select your gender and role prior to starting the game. The issue is that your model in these first few renders is very obviously the male, making the jump to female sudden. Here were the clues to this that stuck out to me:
- Initial view of your legs which appear very, very masculine.
- That same render shows male boxer briefs.
- Masculine hand shown shading your eyes from the light.
- Upon selecting female, your nails are suddenly painted red and your undergarments change, making the previous points stick out sorely.
The MC's model should simply not be shown at all prior to gender selection if you intend to have this.

As a whole, this introduction is a poor aspect of the game as it begins the story by taking you out of the story. I would greatly prefer a simple menu upon hitting "Start". Additionally, the dialogue here is extremely overacted, feeling almost child-like. Options for initial definition of your character are either perverted or dumb. Of course, the game's dialogue as a whole carries this issue, always feeling like a parody of sorts. In part this is due to the poor English and plentiful typos, but it's mainly a matter of absurdity and awkward word choice.

The next thing I noticed was the menu background upon right-clicking, which opens the save menu and...nothing else, curiously enough. I'll get to that later, but the issue with this background is that it is a collage of scenes of the characters having intimate relations with...some random guy. Now, the issue here is twofold:
- When playing as a female, it's rather rude to have the player right-click and see the characters with some random guy.
- The guy in this collage does not even appear to be the male protagonist based on the CGs of him, so when playing as a male you're still right-clicking just to see the girls having sex with some random guy.
Regardless of the intent here, the background should be change to solo images of the girls, or even just use the comic-book like faux load screen sometimes used between scenes.

Speaking of the right-click menu, typically in Ren'Py games you can right-click to open the "Save" menu, which will then have additional tabs on the left for loading, settings, quitting the game, etc. For some reason, the developer decided to remove these options, deciding the phone GUI would be a better place for them. I disagree for four reasons:
- The phone GUI is not initially visible, meaning that during the introduction you are left reloading new games to see the stat effects of different options.
- Those used to Ren'Py games will naturally right-click to look for options, saves, and loads, especially when
- you didn't stop right-clicking from opening the save menu, meaning you just end up having an incomplete menu in your game.
- The phone GUI is just far, far clunkier to quickly save and load with.

Speaking of the phone GUI, its implementation is questionable as it actually interferes with Ren'Py's rollback system. I have never seen this in a game menu before. It's also worth noting the "Inventory" option in the phone has multiple layers of text overlapping and is completely unreadable.

On the topic of the rollback system, the game kindly offers status update messages just above the text box. However, if you miss what it said or couldn't quite read it due to the coloring, don't worry, rolling the text back to view it will in most circumstances not play the notification again, so get stuffed.

All of those complaints out of the way, let's get into the story. It begins with It's completely nonsensical and an early example of the game's inability to handle anything remotely resembling foreshadowing.

The next mentionable bit was after reaching the house, you're led up the stairs by Alexis. Here I noticed something very peculiar: The barren backyard. Most areas in the setting are reasonably well-decorated, so this area, which resembles a Roblox landscape from 2009, stood out like a sore thumb. It's an oddity because it is the only area in the game that looked distinctly unbelievable.

Shortly, I encountered another oddity: A player decision leading to the game outcome. Now, that's pretty typical, but it's the details here that make it strange.
It was at this point that I noticed just how intense the music was despite the conversations being very casual. This turns out to be a repeated issue throughout the game, music is both poorly selected and poorly mixed. I found myself regularly going into the options screen to turn the music volume down or up as tracks changed, because the developer seemingly did not realize they should go through and equalize the volume on them.

My next story issue is after the MC
This poor attempt at foreshadowing carries an issue with Dakota's dialogue.
Dakota's role in the story is a very, very poor one. She is protrayed as an extremely slutty character with not so much as a shred of an attempt to hide that. So if the sister's mom is so strict, in what world would Alexis be allowed to hang out with her? In fact, why has she not tried to sleep with Alexis? In fact, this a key problem with all the characters in the game, even the sisters: Every single one is extremely slutty from the get-go. Mei probably has the best introduction, but of course it turns out she's The player actually has no real impact on the personalities of the characters, near as I can tell. There's actually a direct contradiction in dialogue regarding Dakota, It's straight up unbelievable.

Since we're here, let's talk about that Assuming you don't , the MC believes that if they fall asleep then Of course, this is exactly what happens, and then...there's no consequence. The game completely drops this line of logic. No reason even given, it's just gone.

The next big story incident involves Ava, and as you likely expect at this point, it comes with its own host of issues. Following

When Ava is speaking with Alexis at the table, she tells Alexis that

My single biggest problem with "Thirty Days" is that it completely lacks any player definition. In fact, at this point, I would state that "Thirty Days" is for all intents and purposes an almost entirely a kinetic novel. What I would like would be for each character to begin distinctly different from each other, and to be molded by the player's choices, but instead the MC is just being dragged around from scene to scene with no actual player input. Every girl is a slut, even those stated to be "innocent", and no choice you make defines anything.

As a whole, "Thirty Days" is just a problematic experience. It is riddled with technical issues, poor storytelling, and an almost complete absence of player input. It is my belief that "Thirty Days" is in need of a complete rework prior to any continuation of content.

The story is pretty good if you take your time. I love the musical choices which made me get more involved in the story, the character designs ARE PRETTY UNIQUE in a good way,

pretty good graphics , too much emotions ! not to much sex scenes yet but this game has a great story , gameplay like about 8-10 hours depends on how you play .
this has her own music , not like every other game use the same music as always . even there is games that dont have music at all .
you have to many options to start the game and also 2 routes ( i don't like that because you have to play the game 2 or more time to see all the content and sometimes you lose some content ).

This was surprisingly awesome. I usually filter out female protag games as not my thing, but this is a very complete and very good game for the uncle or cousin so that's totally valid. It's probably one of my top 10 games on this site rather suddenly and the quality is on point. Pretty good story, could do with a proof read, but nothing horrendous. GIrls are absolutely amazing. Pretty good pacing and I see more branching paths than anything other than intwined and this seems much more managable and customizable without exploding into too many threads to possibly follow up on. The girls seem to tailor to what you are more into, and that is awesome. I can't attest for the things I'm not into, like female protags and possible NTR I think, which are in there or may be in there but it's avoidable if so, and I didn't feel anything was lacking. Really enjoyed whats available and look forward to more.

Honestly this game has so much potential but seeing how long the updates takes does seem like an issue for most, but honestly if it's being done in a steady manor with the current models and animation I say great. The game itself is a solid VN with adorable characters and a straight forward plot. Solid game, wish I could give it a 4 and a half stars instead of just 4 but them the works. It's a great game but I'm also a big fan or red heads. Love 'Em.

Just started playing Thirty Days today and finished up to November update today, I wish I found this game a lot sooner, I would have fallen in love with it like I have now, this is a deffo 5 out of 5 game for everyone that will enjoy, glad I was able to create a female protagonist, but you do also get the option to play as a male protagonists, but I will stick to what I was born as lol, I am enjoying the plot / story, love the way it's written to try and get Kayla to open up to you, the animations brings the whole game to life, renders are beautifully well created, characters are all stunningly beautiful, glad that this is a real female protagonist game that does not treat females like brainless sluts, I am just sorry that I only just found this game, love it, well done to the dev, thumbs up for everything you have made

I love this amazing game.

The twins are extremely cute and sexy, and it's not just the models, but also how masterfully they were used to unfold all that cuteness and sexiness.

The animations and sex scenes in general are the gold standard of how it should be done.

Great posing, awesome facial expressions etc. Probably the best kissing in all AVNs that I've seen.

So much work was put into all this, and so well placed, with great taste!

Except that I don't like purely black clothing style for Kayla (I'd prefer a few alternatives), so IMHO Misa lacks fashion sense. (I'm not really into BDSM, and as a psychologist /former professor/ I know that black clothing is generally conductive to depression).

Everything else is above A+.

Normally I like longer build up, but this is done so well and so convincing that I've nothing to complain about.

My only regret is that there are too many variations (male, female etc.), because if devs would just make MC a male cousin, that would save time and efforts for more content along the route.

Great game. Cute characters, interesting dialogues and a good story. Both girl looks pretty great. Wish the younger twin was not that naive tho. Also there is not a single character who is harder to get which makes it less engaging

+ Nice renders and good looking models that don't all have the same body types, which I REALLY appreciate the variety.

+ I love a VN/game that has eroticism and doesn't just jump into every girl being a slut. We get a little kiss here or a touch of the shoulder there and things progress logically, depending on the girl...though I'd say Ava was a bit fast when some cuddling and caressing could have been more than enough to bond her to the MC.

+ Great use of music and slideshows for scenes.
I appreciate the warning to "not" press any keys till the slideshow is over since it will skip content that I wanted to see and not miss.

+ I wanted to play through the current story without as little obstacles or grinding as possible, so I enabled the cheats and console to fudge stats and money. This effectively makes starting as the Uncle/Aunt versus family friend versus cousin have no difference in the outcome.

I'm going to go through it again without any cheats and see how things are. For example, does it extend over more days now that I don't have the money to buy all the outfits on the first shopping spree? Or is v4.x simply mean we wrap up day 4 regardless of what has or hasn't been purchased?

The ratio of relationship building and lewd content is really good.
Story is simple but decent.
Wording/text is really nice, the main LI's / characters are wholesome and feel believable and not fictional. The sweetness of the girl with braids deserves exceptional praise.
The side chicks are also good looking and dont feel too much like sluts.
Renders are in good quality, nothing outstanding but good looking. Animations could be better but also worse.

Overall a much enjoyable experience this far. Really promising. Since I care more about likeable characters and dig romance I would rate it 4.8/5 (alsmost perfect) so far at v4.93

Got to say i do love this game, it has sooo much potential, i cant wait to see if the pregnancy will be a part of the game or just the normal scene or two when game is finised but i am hoping for the first.....

There is only one thing i worry about and thats the picture to picture insted of animations, the first BJ scene with one of the main girls was pretty much picture to picture and if theres one place i would like to see animations it would be for sex scenes.

Another issue is that it does have forced LI so while telling your everything is up to you it not really true, cant say i like the LI that is forced on you stright from the start or forced sex scenes it kinda ruins alot and there not even any real reason for it to be there, she could just be a close friend and give the player a choice about her so its a bit of a huge fail which is also why i cant give this all 5 stars.

this game owns. it is well designed, models are beautiful, characters are fascinating, the writing is sharp. Ava is a super interesting twist to the story, and her model is incredible - sometimes a bookworm, sometimes kind of san and plain, and sometimes genuinely stunning. Kind of like a real woman is..

I literally have no complaints other than I wish Alex would change her hairstyle, The little pigtails look silly and are not necessary to make her look innocent.

never really left a review before but gotta say one of the better corruption games on the sub, you can tell the game has been well thought out with nothing in there just for the sake of it, the characters are interesting and their potential development as hinted within the game and described by the dev, makes this not only a good game to play now, but one that makes you more than excited to see the devs vision come to fruition, you can probably poke your own personal holes and little flaws into the game but in my experience nothing big enough that can't be overlooked by its stellar performance in other categories. just want to say a good job well done to the dev for this one, if not anything but the heart and mind you can tell have been put into the game. most definitely a porn game while not once feeling like a shallow horn fest as opposed to a lot of other "corruption" type games on this site.

Great game. The young women are very gorgeous, with many excellent closeups and view angles. Nice expressions. Good erotic buildup. Lots of animations of decent quality. Story held together fine and had some unique tangents.

General Overview: This game has a great deal of potential so far, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who has the time to give it a shot.
With the amount of content currently available, you should be able to get at least a couple of days of play out of it, and there is already some replay value with the different options for character routes and your MC.


Gameplay Elements: 5/5
The gameplay elements and puzzle elements for the game have been spot-on. They're interesting and well-refined, and so far they have been optional so those who don't enjoy them have the option of skipping them.
I, for one, enjoy puzzles and strategy games, so these elements really did appeal to me when I was playing through it.
The Escape Room scene with Kayla is the most prominent example of this, and I found it reasonably simple to solve, but enjoyable all the same. Hopefully there will be more chances to play through these kinds of thing in the future, and hopefully the puzzles will be a bit more challenging, or have more than just a couple of layers to them. The inclusion of things like this really makes it feel like a game, rather than just a choice-driven story with (albeit very nice) visuals.

The characters so far have all been very well developed and presented in an authentic and realistic way, each with their own personalities, quirks, flaws, and strengths. They are all easy to relate to, and multi-faceted. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they grow and develop as the story progresses.

As this is a visual novel, the story is one of the most important elements, and this one is definitely a unique one (in my experiences). There have been some common tropes among games like this included, but so far those seem to be a staple of the genre, so there's been no harm with their inclusion.
I'm honestly impressed with the story so far, and I am interested in seeing where things go from here.

Spelling and Grammar: 3/5
I caught a number of frequent, yet consistent, spelling and grammatical mistakes so far. That said, I've seen much worse, and I've seen much better as well. This one has been somewhere in the middle in this regard. I'd recommend asking your alpha and beta testers to let you know whenever they spot any of these mistakes so you can fix them before the public releases.

Visuals and Animation: 4/5
Finally, the visuals and animation, since this is a visual novel. All of this is really solid so far. Animation could use some improvement and is currently a bit rigid and rough in places. The transition moments could also be refined a bit further as well.
Moving on, the girls all look amazing, and the presentation of different points of view from scene to scene is also fairly well executed, though the jumps between PoV's is a bet jarring at times.
The scenery, though, has been exceptional so far. Definitely far superior to some of the other VN's out there when it comes to setting and creating an atmosphere and mood for the scenes.

Notes: For this review, I should also note that I was playing a male cousin MC, and my review, while general, is based upon this specific selection in the beginning.

I'd like to give 4.5/5, as it's not a perfect game, but it's also better then a 4, so I'll give it a 5 with an asterisk.

I love the girls models in the game. Natural looking, for the most part. No overly busty bimbos. They're all quite cute, especially the 2 twins. Alex is the best, but I'm not choosing sides! Renders are nice. Nothing spectacular but very nice, while animations are also good.

The story is basically just your interactions with the characters over the 30 days you're with them, it seems up to now at least. This is fine as the characters are all pretty good. As I said the main girls, the twins, are both great. Some of the secondary ones are also good, although they're not what carries this game. It's the twins, and hopefully the author knows that and continues that throughout the game. As usually introducing to many characters gets messy.

I would say my one by issue is the way photo shoots happen. The author should just give us the ability to 'click' to move on to the next frame, but we have to watch a panning camera slowly go up and down as the poses changes. The renders and models look good, but it's a little boring!

All in all, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this one develops. Definitely a game you should play.

The background music are good and its nice that it change according to the scenes.

Read through the reviews before I downloaded. After playing through, I can't say I see what other people do in this game - it's as cookie-cutter as they come.

We get a clothing store scene right off the bat, and then, surprise surprise, one of the LIs wants to be a model, so we get another iteration of the 'photography' storyline and the accompanying scenes that are a massive snooze-fest. The other LI falls into the "uncorrupted virgin that doesn't act at all like one" bucket. The side characters are not notable.

The renders are nice, but the animations are super choppy and off-putting. The settings are generic. You've seen this house, the pool, the clothing store, and the coffee shop a billion times before.

Fair warning, this game plays rather heavily into the whole white knight archetype. So if you're not into being the goody guy that saves and nurtures women left and right, then it's gonna be a bumpy ride for you.

The game is pleasing to look at, the characters not bad even if a little dull. They all have a problem that you have to solve for them and it's more about the girls than it is about MC. So there's clear submissive railroading of the MC which, again, if you're not into... You're not gonna have fun.

There's not much story, instead there's scenarios you find in most adult games. Buy the girls clothes, solve their problems, perv on them and have them fall for you one by one in a rather obscure way.

With that said, the game still manages to keep its head above the surface. The models are good looking and the dialogues, while a little predictable, aren't bad. So feel free to enjoy the game, but don't expect too much.
