I have forgotten most of what it was about because it was 7 months ago. It's always a problem that you forget a lot when the updates last longer than 2-3 months!

That's the reason tho. 99% are freeloaders here.
Doesn't change the fact that there was a huge gap between updates and a number of promised updates that never materialized with little or no explanation. Add in the fact that the games title makes it pretty easy to calculate when the game will finish based on the update frequency and amount and this game has the look of so many games where the dev bit off more than they could chew that end up abandoned. If the dev comes through with full day both paths updates in a timely manner chatter on this thread will increase until then expect circumspection and a quieter thread.

Did it though>? No it didn't. Yes I have it on steam and yes i've been keeping track closely of the "progress". Let me be the first to say that the dishonesty is getting pretty blatant. I am fine getting lied to when im not paying for it, but so far nothing new as of the 4.99. You might say, "But dev said there was 2 other updates with over a thousand renders each." Well sorry Timmy, he is fudging numbers. First off the only new renders are the roughly 400 renders that TAKE YOU OFF the story of closing the 5th day with a "bang" and sidestep you into some godawful "blackout" scenario where you wake up without memory of what happened except a half naked Redhead next to you. Oh wait, Sorry maybe the dev is refering to the 600 renders in a SUB folder not released to the public but in the installs folders in day 5.

No. Those renders have been there since march/april (whenever the 4.99 update was). So far there have only been roughly 500 new renders that are "coherent" at best at the advance of the story line.
Now maybe I am being FAR too critical. Possibly. Although, I don't mind delays, for whatever reason, as long as the DEV is HONEST with the delays. Shit I would take a "Sorry guys I ended up doing other shit and this wasn't at the top of my list IRL sorry sit tight ok?" But instead I am shoveled vague excuses and inaccurate "updates". It's honestly getting to be worrying because now I fear the DEV is not doing anything because of another issue (Be it IRL pushback from someone or something possibly copyright related.)

I know this dev can push out decent quality content (800+ actual story related renders and actual world building) every 2-3 months because I watched them do it since initial launch. But now there is the whole thing with the female story line lagging behind by 2-3 months. Don't get me wrong ladies, we love ya, but regardless of gender equality when you have a runt of the litter it must be culled for the greater good of the entire pack. (You understand what I mean right?) And while I can only assume every woman will take that as a condecending statement from the "Don't get me wrong ladies" part and instantly start reporting my post for man-splaning how projects that have multiple chapters often end up downsizing/cutting chapters for the sake of deadline and ultimitly "need".
I mean, don't sell your fanbase short. All it took to figure out there is some serious incorrect numbers being floated on the updates and that something is definetly fishy here. I am someone who tends to be very upfront with my experiences and this has been mine thus far. Also I did the math a while back and at current rate of releases, the estimated finish date for 30 days is Midsummer 2030. That is not a typo.

Oh, young people are so impatient... I'm still waiting for getting my hands on the recent update, and not saying a word like, "C'mon guys, it's been over two weeks, leak it already!.."
2030 is alright, especially if we get 500 renders this autumn. The real problem is to live long enough, which might become problematic due to political developments on this planet. You might not realize this, but nowadays it could be the golden age of humanity: internet, Oscar nominations, soup kitchens... Our grandchildren might not believe when we'd tell them that in our old times nobody needed skills like running and spear throwing...
Don't get me wrong, if you could leak the current game files here in 2023, I personally wouldn't object.

You really willing to wait close to a decade for a completion of a porn game? I understand waiting a decade for the completion of a best selling book series or whatever, but a porn game??!?? I don't know what kind of patience you have, but you have to understand that porn, unlike books or tv shows or whatever, have other visual mediums that typically don't require waiting patiently for a decade. How many people on pornhub actually watch a full 30+ minute porn video? The nature of porn typically is find a good video/story you like, enjoy it for a few min/hour until completion.
Now when talking about episodic AVNs, I can understand development taking a few years to complete, but a decade? You're out of your mind if you think anybody's going to wait that long for the completion of a porn story. Take a look at the most popular completed AVNs on this site and you'll see that they're typically wrapped up within a few years. Problem with AVNs is the vast majority of them get abandoned and never get completed. The problem with this AVN is that it cannot be this slow between each update, and still drag out the scenes. I understand the premise of 30 days is to be a slow burn/corruption over 30 days, but if we're only at day 5 after 19 months of development, you're never going to gain fans/subscribers over the fucking teasing that's going on.
This game is either going to:
1) be abandoned
2) be so slow in progress with the main girls that it'll take fucking years to actually get a full scene with them (hell we're already almost at the 2 year mark)
3) have to be unrealistically fast in progress with the main girls, since we're supposed to believe these updates are days or half days with the girls
It's a damn shame because I want to like this game, but it has huge red flags that would prevent me from supporting it.

I didn't talk about supporting the game. Patreon blocked me for being a Kommunist (which is neither exactly correct nor legal, but they don't bother as long as I'm not one of their brainless zombies), and PayPal stole my money after I moved in a country they blacklist (and those are just a few reasons why I can't support any game ATM). But speaking about waiting per se, come on, it's like waiting for Christmas. Maybe I won't get any visitors or gifts this year, and the next year... but if it would still happen, say, in 2030, wouldn't that be still a wonderful surprise? So I'm not really doing any waiting, I'm just enjoying life for as long as it goes on, meanwhile praising things I like, and not whining. And if one day I'll get another wonderful surprise, it would be another wonderful day to enjoy!

Seems like they prefer doing more for the Male MC rather than the Female MC.
I own other games on Steam called "Darkness Revenge & Bad Memories" and they too have a playable Male MC or Female MC. I think the Dev for "DR" focused on the Male MC side first and then just finished the Female MC side afterwards.
I think the Dev for Bad Memories updates both at the same time and the Female MC is never lacking behind the Male MC unlike with this game.
But we can't forget that this game offers 3 Male MC choices and 3 Female MC choices... I don't know if it would be quicker with just one choice or 2? make a poll and see which choices are more preferred and get rid of the others. I just don't know what the Dev has in mind with all the choices.
I am not even planning to jump back into it until the Female MC has a decent amount of content.

The team have had some tragedies that happened recently. So that understandingly slowed down development a bit. I know he hired a girl to write the female path to speed things up and make the female MC seem more realistic. But since they had personal shit to work trough. It's been a little messy the last few months.
But I hope they get things sorted soon and back on track. I think the last half of day 5 on the female rout is set to release early December.

... and those aren't even the actual version numbers. The OP states "4.93" but the actual script shows "0.04.93". The new "Day 5" version numbers seem to go offtrack even further as the Steam version is different from the Patreon version. But, guess it doesn't matter since Day 5 isn't really complete anyway. Posts say the Male is but the dev clearly wrote it's "95%" due to "a few choice alterations are being added".
Fuck if I know... I had to drop my monetary support due to the snail's pace of Day 5 population and it's constant re-renders/re-writes. I have no idea how I'm going to keep the mod updated for this VN tbh. I'll do what I can once anything becomes "public" though... I've already bumped the VN to the latest mod Core in preparation all these past months, including a very tricky SanchoGallery scene count code due to the Male/Female toggle:
I'm still sitting on 0.04.93 though, I have no idea what kind of shenanigans the code has undergone since then. If they don't make a proper gameplan and fully storyboard future days then the likelihood of ever seeing Day 30 gets slimmer. A fleshed-out storyboard pre-production is all but mandatory imho.

Their on day 5 on steam not sure bout itch though. next steam update Dec 1st should have the the rest female route for day 5. According to post just today they hope have day 6 done by the end of year. I had some delay...noty going what they were cause i dont know which to believe on that front.
