Right, what am I missing?
This game is sitting at 4.5 stars with a ton of reviews, which is crazy high for the Ntr-genre, which routinely gets spammed with negative reviews, with many of the greatest in the genre not even making 4.0.

And yet the art/renders look so... bad, imo. The kind of stuff that would not look out of place in a game at 2.8 stars, that got abandoned after 2 months. Bad lightning, bad bodily proportions, bad renders.

And yet, clearly there is SOMETHING here that draws people in. Is the writing great? Are the renders in the game better than the previews? Does it have actual interesting gameplay? What am I missing?

I would love nothing more than for this game to live up to its reviews, but I am pretty sceptical going off the artstyle.

The dev is very prolific,that counts for a lot. I believe this game is updated twice a month on average.

Story/Narrative/Double entendre jokes. That's what makes the story good. The animation isn't splendid, but the narrative is so good that you simply don't care. The setting and the almost-blatant situations are what make this NTR game so good.

I have to tell you that perhaps the only thing bothering me at the moment is this; those scenes with the MC sleeping really detract from the believability of the situation.

I actually didn’t play the last two updates because of how fast the updates released are.
At this rate, I’ll be thinking to postpone playing the game until it’s completely finished.
This developer is the one who truly deserves support, because he doesn’t milk subscribers the way other greedy developers do.
The biggest proof is that developers are capable of finishing an update within a month or two at most, instead of making people wait a year or a year and a half, while giving their Patreon subscribers false hope that the game will be updated, and continuing to milk their subscribers without giving anything in return.

This game is always frequently updated, and it's a very good game. It's perhaps the only game, along with Inatari Tales, where I believe it's not okay to leak updates. It doesn't have many supporters, but the few it does have keep the developer working on their game, which is a high-quality NTR game, so let's not spoil it.
