don't know if the OS has anything to do with it but I was also unable to run the game with the crack applied on MAC. I also tried running the windows version with RenpySDK, wasn't even able to launch the game at all regardless of having the crack applied or not, kept getting an error .txt file. Guess I'll have to wait for a pre-patched uncompressed version
