So is Inceton rushing to complete the game before the Steam release? Does anyone know how many more updates there will be?
Certainly seems like it, especially considering that the recent poll posted on the main Inceton Patreon noted that the plan was to have this game released on Steam by the end of the month (which is laughable).
0.6.0 just came out, which is the complete Episode 6. Given that there is feasibly going to be 10 Episodes (Going by the baseline set by other Inceton games) to bring us to 1.0, there will be at least 4 more updates, I presume, before the game's release on Steam.
Of course, Inceton could feasibly release both Episodes 7 and 8 as a 0.8.0 next, but we don't know yet, and I haven't checked their website to see what version is coming next, if they've even updated their website yet.
Edit: Just checked Inceton's website, 0.7.0 is next.
A part of me is kinda surprised it hasn't leaked yet. Inceton games are usually pretty quick on the leak front.
Then again, it could be a testament to people just not caring about Thot on Trial? That could be a reason why the Steam release is being pushed for sooner rather than later? This is just speculation though.
That's where I'm on. Can you maybe show a screenshot of the free trial option?
