Alright, the game reminds me of the TV series "From" 2022. It had the same idea, but with unknown entities killing people. I'm sure I've seen this kind of plot in other films or books, though.

Unfortunately, after the first season, it went downhill and ended up being terrible. The story started to drag, the plot never moved, there were conflicts for the sake of it, the characters behaved stupidly and so on. I really hope this game doesn't disappoint, because I couldn't enjoy a similar plot in that series. And so far I really like how the game's writer has created this world. I just hope there will be elements of horror or survival in it.

As for my other impressions:

The AI art is great, and I'd give it a big thumbs up. The girls look very sexy, even in the standard standing sprites (maybe because they don't seem to be wearing bras? :p The legs and butts are pretty nice, too).

The game's sound is really lacking - even just a bit of ambient noise would be great. There are loads of sounds you can find online, like freesound.org, which is a perfect for indie developers.

I've only read the last few posts, and it looks like the author himself is sharing his plans for future content, which is great. I'm really intrigued by the story and the mystery surrounding it, so I don't want to read spoilers and I want to get a blind walkthrough. I will, however, respond to his last comment about grind.

I realize that this is your vision for the game, but seriously, if you plan on making the game a sandbox, in my opinion it will only hurt it. What I saw from the prologue over the last two days looks perfect, so I think it's best to leave it as it is. Instead of adding grinding mechanics, I'd focus on making important decisions on key days that players have to make. There are loads of sandboxes out there, but only a few of them are really interesting to play. Watching repetitive actions with the same descriptions is not entertaining to anyone, and this is most often the way indie developers go.

Thank you for the feedback!

I’m glad you’re enjoying the story.

I’ll definitely work on the sound, but I decided to finish polishing the prologue first.

As for the sandbox: it’s designed not to feel tedious or interfere with the story progression. It’s primarily there for fan service.

We’ll have a base—our apartment (think of it like the Normandy in Mass Effect). You can walk around and talk to people, or just skip it entirely if you’d prefer.

The outskirts of the city are where we’ll start. Here, you’ll find the initial quests, and there’s a bar for fan service, of course. Occasionally, you might meet someone there who’ll give you a quest or sell something rare.

And finally, the city center. No spoilers, but we’ll visit it as part of the story, with maybe a few extra excursions—though those will mostly be story-driven too.

As soon as I saw this development, someone can tell me how many scenes it currently has, from what I saw, there are only 2 with the one in the bar. I don't know if I missed something else, could someone tell me?

If you mean lewd scenes - there is only 1 so far (yes with the bar lady Helena).

Just taking this game's title at face value - why do so many dev's think their audience wants the MC to be a loser? Nobody likes losers. Nobody wants to be a loser in life. So why would anyone want to play as loser in their vicarious entertainment?
yea. It's rare to see MC who behave like a normal man. Most of them in this genre are soyboy losers, who are also often bullied and humiliated.
Sometimes when i feel it and if I really can't stand idiocy of MC, i point that in my review and games like this get immediately 1-2 star ratings
Why devs continue producing these pathetic males? Maybe because they don't know how to create a normal man?

I don't like wimpy MC's that get pushed around and hesitated to play this, but to be fair, I didn't actually find this MC to be that much of a loser (certainly compared to a lot of other games). It's more that these 3 girls and 1 in particular treated you pretty crappily throughout school. 2 of them are quite nice to you right from the start now and the other seems to switch between nice things and bitchy comments. You also have the opportunity to stand up for yourself against her right from the start and even if you take the 'nice' path it's not really being a pussy stuff (at least not yet).

But yeah, the title doesn't help.

Don’t take the title literally. Otherwise, in a couple of months, you’ll be asking about the mansion too.

He's a loser because of how things turned out (in school), how he was perceived there, and how the girls see him now. Some time has passed, circumstances and the setting have changed, and relationships are being reset. Everyone tries to be as polite as possible, but past grievances are still remembered. That’s the starting point. What happens next will unfold as the story progresses.

The title simply gives us an understanding of the initial setup of the board.

Dear Dev congrats for your art. Named saving is always welcome especially if you are planning complex pathways.

I will say I am liking Zoes thickness. Tired of all these chicks with the skinny bodies.
Don't know what you mean by tired of all the skinny chicks almost every single game on this site is big ass, big tit or fat girls and personally I'm getting sick of it there's almost no variety anymore.

Well most devs follow the format of zero to hero in regards of characterization of mc

I get where you're coming from... but your title doesn't strike me as metaphorical, allegorical, or thematic. "Three Chicks and a Loser: The Cursed Mansion" is about as literal as it gets. The game is about three girls and the MC. And presumably a mansion built on a pet cemetery built on an old Indian burial ground built on Kamala's prospects of ever becoming President.

People judge books by their covers and games by their titles all the time. If your title suggests that the MC is a loser a good chunk of players are going to be turned off by that. They won't play your game to find out whether it's really eponymous or not.

I'm not suggesting you change it. It's your game and if you're happy with the title, that's what matters. It just strikes me as weird that so many spank games create this association between "losers" and "players". As marketing strategies go it's right up there with Coca Cola's ill-fated 1965 slogan - "Drink Coke, you faggots".

Pregnancy... I haven’t really thought about it as some sort of kink, but since I’m trying to create a kind of life simulation (in Ren’Py, yes :D) with daily routines, and even considered adding a menstrual cycle - it’s possible that someone might end up pregnant. What happens next with the future mom would be up to you to decide. But that’s something far off in the future.

As for names... I haven’t really thought about them. I’ve considered character customization, but I’m still hesitant because I hope to include animated sex scenes, and that would complicate things. It’s one thing to create three sprites with different hairstyles, and it’s a whole other challenge to adjust hair color in animations.
Thanks for listening to my suggestions, do your thing and if you decide to use the ideas then go for it. It is your game and I just like to offer ideas. Love the idea of a menstrual cycle, it's awesome to fuck a chick who is on her period and you get your dick covered in blood (closeups please). Girls are even hornier when they are on their periods. It can smell a little strong, but, you get over it. Strong emphasis on family fucking, please, especially the mom.

Umm. There's no mom (or any relatives) in this one.
