If you’re talking about the new character sprite, only Helena’s sprite was changed - or rather, it would be more accurate to say it was added. Previously, she didn’t have a sprite with emotional expressions and outfit variations.


The old sprite (where she looked more mature) didn’t work well with emotions - they broke the character’s identity. Even a subtle smile would distort her face.

New sprite better for this:

Yeah, Helena was completely different. That was her first sprite (which will be removed in version 0.20 along with all the old ones).
With Tori, the funny thing is that the foot massage sprite is actually an old image (it’s been sitting in the game folder for a few months). I didn’t change it because the foot massage scene is going to be reworked and expanded — so I just left it as is for now.
And Bianca... well, it’s Bianca in both cases. Just a different angle and different lighting.
