yeah except you are 1)denying player agency at all 2)he acts spineless not indifferent..... he's hungry and this bitch wants to work him to the bone after no sleep, no food(which she promised) gives him no incentive or reward just tells him to do it, and he does.... thats spinelss not indifference. Then after its all done he finds out shes lying through her teeth about many things including the food and he doesnt even drop a snarky comment he just rolls over and plays dead.... again....From a storytelling perspective, I stick to the idea that the author shouldn’t impose their own views through the actions or reactions of the MC. That’s why our MC stays passive toward what’s happening around him whenever possible.
It’s not fear or spinelessness - its more like indifference. Because of his past, he’s naturally developed a kind of immunity to what others say about him.
He’s withdrawn, a bit sullen, and in conversations, he tends to look at people from under his brow - like he’s drilling into them with his gaze. He’s always inside his own imaginary fortress. The only thing that can make him step out of it is when his own principles are challenged.
That’s not the portrait of a spineless guy... is it?
You missed something. If, after the outing with Chloe, you go to Ian first, then by the time you return to the hotel, Bianca and Tori will already be awake and the story will progress normally. So, is there any way to stop the girl's corruption scenes or do they just give in because of story purposes? Because I got the option of corruption+5 with Zoe at the end but no other option, she just accepts it. Did I miss something or is this just scripted to happen any way if so, why put an option there to begin with if you can't prevent it?
That's the thing I got 2 separate playthroughs of her drinking and not drinking but no it still happensI suppose if Zoe drank the pusher, then it is unawoidable.
Ok thanks I will retry againYou missed something. If, after the outing with Chloe, you go to Ian first, then by the time you return to the hotel, Bianca and Tori will already be awake and the story will progress normally.
But… if you skip going to Ian right away and head straight to the hotel, they’ll still be asleep. Knock on Zoe’s door (the blue one). After that, you can go to Ian and turn in the quest.
When, where?im stuck at night time and nothing to move forward..
I suppose you are talking about Chloe, so let's recap what the MC has obtained with his spineless behaviour:yeah except you are 1)denying player agency at all 2)he acts spineless not indifferent..... he's hungry and this bitch wants to work him to the bone after no sleep, no food(which she promised) gives him no incentive or reward just tells him to do it, and he does.... thats spinelss not indifference. Then after its all done he finds out shes lying through her teeth about many things including the food and he doesnt even drop a snarky comment he just rolls over and plays dead.... again....
It's a while since I played that scene, but from memory, you have to keep your money (don't give it all to Bianca). Before taking Zoe to work, visit her in her room (she must be at least 50 friendship) and give her 10 gold. She'll then tell the old fart to fuck off and give the money you gave her to Bianca.Yeah I talked to Zoe BEFORE going to Ian and still couldn't block her whoring herself when I'm on the Tori route. So what's the previous trigger to prevent that ? Is it really going to be "choose one of the 2 and the other's basically whoring herself to everybody" ?
spineless, you are using after the fact knowledge to justify his actions in the past, that doesnt work. Also yes he supposedly can but never does he acts like a door mat all the fucking time in these last few times. Brain dead too considering he ate nothing before going on an overnight mission and didnt bring anything to eat either. So is the mc's behaviour absence of spine or it is wisdom?
Well, if we read the dialogues and the excerpts from his old diary, we can see he isn't dumb and he is neither spineless. He want just avoid unnecessary troubles. But if he cannot, then he perfectly able to "go to the war"; like when he broke the nose of a Zoes' friend with a sock turned into an improvised weapon.
Yes, that is what I did. He asked for it to be returned unopened.I think I might’ve found what’s going on!
The day before - when the crate was delivered for Ian - did you refuse to open it when Helena asked you to?
Right now it looks like the quest gets stuck at that point and doesn’t complete properly the next day.
