I'd wager the two are related - which is why I often champion the idea of moving away from the firm grasp weeb themes have on avn culture; more people will start playing, and over time these things will become more normalized which is a win for everyone. (well, except the above subset, but their interests lay contrary to the health of the ecosystem)
As far as the actual game is concerned, can anyone tell if much happens yet, or is it just a teaser intro? I dont mean sex but narrative progression, is it just him traveling to the new location?

Currently, there’s very little content available: only half of the prologue (the first day) after all, this is just a demo version. In the next update, I’ll finish the prologue (the next story day will be available) and plan to polish the free mode to a working state, where we’ll be able to freely explore the apartments, meet the girls there, and interact with them. Features like quest journals, inventory, shops, weather, wardrobes, money, and time of day will be added over the course of several updates alongside the story.
